The youngest of Gen Z were born in 2012 so that still makes them 16-17 at the youngest. Plenty of stupid shit to be had. If anybody's trying to attribute the Ipad baby name to them that's mostly incorrect, sure. Most of gen z however didn't really know a world without easy access to the internet with a computer in every home and spent most of their life with actual memories living with the maturation of the smartphone.
The biggest issue there is also categorizing early Z vs late Z. There's a major difference between someone who was limited to chatrooms, the general 2000s web and it's games and ps2/xbox/gamecube/ds in their childhood etc, and, stretching that definition if their family had more cash to burn, x360, ps3, wii as the height of entertainment technology and someone who never lived a year of their life before Steve Job's greatest mistake and the true rise of social media. Plus growing up in the post 9/11 environment and sandwiched with 2008. Early-mid Z would have also had a lot of experience with cable/sat TV while I would doubt you have a majority of alpha knowing anybody besides their grandparents who watch that shit with most of what they're shown on their personal chink smart TV being streaming content.
I'm not the best at quantifying this, I'm sure there's been far more in depth discussions on the generational intricacies here, and late Z haven't even gotten past high school yet.
