Gumroad Store

I decided to stop being lazy and properly shill my comic and the Gumroad store where I sell them.
They are free, but money is greatly appreciated. (Ah who cares, no price is better than free anyway.)

This will be a thread where you guys can share your thoughts and critiques of the comic zines I have released. So far there are two issues, the first issue and a special issue.

The aim is to make a light-hearted funny comic that can entertain you, the reader. Feel free to let me know how I can improve my work or share tips on how to make a better comic. I made these first two issues with Procreate on my iPad. It's not an application tailored to making comics so I am switching to Medibang Paint Pro and Photoshop for future works.

I want to make comics as a job in the future. Please help me make this dream come true.

Looks like a decently funny comic, I wish you a million Balldos.

if you want some attention from us take mr nubly's comics and parody them by drawing the complete opposite. it will be funny

What on earth is a Mr Nubly?

EDIT: Some of the most unfunniest comics I've ever read. Going to be hard to spin something out of that, but I can try. Thanks for the suggestion.

Really brave of you to actually release a comic these days as it comes with the strong possibility that will end up with some retarded henchman stalking you and pissing on the graves of your ancestors. Godsneed.

Would you recommend this for someone who hasn't read a comic since they were a young kid?
Well, yeah. The story isn't very complicated but I will be honest with you, my friends have critiqued the first comic for not being clear enough with certain sections as the paneling was confusing to them. From my perspective I was trying something new and it didn't work out so well.

How many panels will there be in a page?
As many or as few as there needs to be. I cannot generalize panel counts for my comic.

Ok, I'll give it a go. Thank you.

Your art style reminds me of something from my childhood but I can’t put my finger on it

I'm glad you got the balls to shill, because with the criticism combined, it's really good for a first-timer.
To hear this from someone as skilled at digital illustration as you is gratifying. Thank you.

Well, all kids draw. And the most common thing kids draw are stickmen or stick figures. My style just came from years of drawing stickmen and adapting that style based on various childhood inspirations, to get to this current style today. I specifically draw like this so it's easier for kids to emulate the comic if they liked reading it and want to make their own work.

Use krita instead of photoshop. Clipstudio I vouch for, not sure about medibang.
I did have Krita but didn't like working with it. I will check Clip Studio out, sucks that it has a monthly subscription plan. Thanks for the suggestions!
