A game that is both a Post apocalyptic city building game that includes political choices where exploration, trade, diplomacy and war with other settlements is possible while keeping mutant beasts at bay. Imagine a Fallout game where you and the settlers are exciting your Vault and it is your time to build and plan a wonderful city and perhaps get to the top of the wasteland hiearchy

Before Sonic Mania was announced, I hoped that Retro Studios would one day be allowed to take a shot at the property, based on the success they had with reviving dormant and ailing franchises (Metroid and Donkey Kong Country). Given that Retro is a Nintendo owned first party developer, I knew this was extremely unlikely, but we ended up getting a great new 2-D Sonic regardless. Now how about a Retro developed Star Fox instead?
It's rumored that Retro Studios is working on a Star Fox racing game. I should have been more specific in my request.

A game where you can freely fly like a bird, like in the Icarus and Daedalus myth.

Pilotwings 64 is the only one I know of where you can do that (the Birdman thing), but it's over 20 years old and the graphics haven't aged well.

I just want a damn 4x game with AI that roleplays their civilization and isn't retarded. It would be nice to be able to basically play a simulation of a world or galaxy with complex internal and external mechanics.

Vicky 3 is what I'm asking for basically.

A new Oregon Trail. Preferably one with a heavy sim element (as with 2) and explorable landmarks.

I was the autist that actually enjoyed the history portion and not just hunting and tombstones.

An FPS game similar to FEAR with bullet time and enemies that fight as a squad with flank tactics and the like.
