@sophnar0747 I thoroughly enjoy the shitstorms and chimpouts you've been causing as of late

"It's just a conspiracy" says guy who blocks people who simply ask if he knows any conservative game journalists.

Nothing to see here plebians, consume and move on.

Still Schreier blocking people is a sign of guilt
It'll never cease to amaze me how these people think blocking and otherwise deliberately disconnecting from their audience will somehow make them more popular with that audience. I know they're woke SJW morons but surely they have to realize at some point they'll eventually end up preaching to an empty hall, right?

Not to mention how fucking obviously guilty it makes them look...

You're not a games journalist so you don't get it: it doesn't matter, if gamers wants news and reviews they have to keep visiting their sites because there are no other alt... oh no, anyone can write on the internet.

At least the big sites have one advantage over the commoner, they have the corporate checkbook to pay for the costly bandwidth associated with hosting videos.

Oh no.

Hate clicks are still clicks, if you want to give them credit. They think there's a big enough audience to survive on if all the gamergate dudebro alt-right incel chud etc. etc. etc. stop reading, if you want to give them much less credit.

And they don't care about the business side of things, they only care about being on the right side of history, if you want to give them no credit at all - and that can be truth with either or both of the above.

Ironically, considering they are all screeching SJWs, what they are most angry and embittered about is their own loss of privilege.

I am a games journalist, unless your site is well established you are not getting many clicks. Even places like KotakuInAction will go to the big sites over smaller ones despite hating the gaming msm

Nobody needs their own site when they can get a much wider reach with Youtube.

Which isnt endorsed by every company. See Sega as the biggest example of a company who refuses to use streaming and influencers and arse backwards policy on streaming. They would rather get dunked by Polygon on the size of the tits of fictional characters and how its homophobic dialogue is a problem before letting influencers help promote.

Smaller devs dont have the luxury of a PR machine at beck and call outside of walking simulators who gets their 15 minutes on VICE so they still rely on influencers. Meanwhile because Bestheda decided to snub Kotaku Schreier has made it his personal mission to mudrake Bestheda for all their worth and so far Fallout 76 is a mudpit of problems that makes it feel worse than it already is.
