Gooner game of the year Stellar Blade's mods are 41% smut, ensuring gamers will never see the light of heaven

Stellar Blade finally hit PC two days ago, giving everyone a chance to do whatever it is this game is actually about. Unfortunately, no one knows what that is, because the entirety of discourse surrounding it is about the main character's butt.
Well, now that butt is on PC, and you know what that means: mods. And if I were to make a book right now on how many of those mods somehow made Stellar Blade even more NSFW than it is out the box, I suspect I wouldn't make very much money (not least because you've probably all read the headline).
By intense scientific calculus (counting), fully 96 of the 234 mods—41%—that currently exist for Stellar Blade are marked as adult. And frankly, some of the ones that aren't marked as adult are probably NSFW. How do you feel about Eve Feethands? Good? Would you discuss that with your grandparents over Christmas dinner?
The majority are, well, what you expect: various ways to make Eve and other women in the game various levels of nude (with the most popular level being 'fully'). Someone did put her in an apron, though, which I suppose leaves something to the imagination. There are also a lot of main menu replacers that just put hardcore smut of one variety or another right there on the home screen, if that's your bag.
Now. Look. I have no issue with what adults do in the privacy of their own home. If you want to turn your copy of any game into an overstimulating carnival of omnipresent erotic delights, please do so with my blessing. But I am a tad mystified. I do wonder what kind of lifestyle it is that leads a person to turn a videogame main menu into hardcore pornography. At some point are you so inured to sexuality that you have to cram it into every available crevice to feel anything? Would you not find more fulfilment if the erotic were less ubiquitous, more rare, more precious? At least we'll always have Thomas the Tank Engine mods.

Unrelated to shitting on PC Gamer, it was fun watching shitty game devs seethe at the success of BG3. I remember Josh Soyer complaining after the BG3 release about how he "doesn't get" what modern CRPG players want. He also talked about how he regretted adding voice acting to his failure of a game Pillars of Eternity 2, and often lamented the fact that lots of the voice talent was overseas, and how he or someone else from the crew would have to stay at work late to direct them.
Most video game devs don't deserve to eat.

I dunno... Devil's Advocate, but I don't really understand the mentality behind people who download mods that transform a normal game into hardcore porn. When I'm browsing something like the Steam Workshop for Left 4 Dead 2, I can't help but roll my eyes at shit like "R18 FUTANARI POKEMORPH MEW TWO" or "HENTAI AHEGAO FLASHLIGHT" or "BLUE ARCHIVE SPRAYS R18." It begs the question as to whether or not people have an off switch for their horniness anymore.
Obviously I can't stop you from doing what you want, but I feel like if you want to look at porn, then you should just go look at porn instead. Then when you're done, you can come back to mingle with the rest of us.
Sure, I don't play the korean gooner game either, It's just not interesting looking. But I'd rather some weirdos out there have some mods(as long as it's not some weird pedo shit, and in this case it isn't) than a fucking game journo screeching into the internet how it's problematic just because they're specifically offended by it for reasons they can never actually articulate(that's how we got game journos bitching about characters in video games not consenting to shit as if they were people, when games like GTA exist where you can just run people over all day).

Yeah, I don't doubt there's a political angle here. I'm sure if you changed nothing about these mods other than adding fag flags to it, I'm sure that in their eye, these mods would be "valid" or "speaking out against oppression," or whatever drivel they'd spew over it. The only reason they're targeting these mods is because they appeal to straight men.
It's just, at the same time, I don't get people who do shit like "replace the main character in Ready or Not with a nude woman." I mean, I like hot women as much as the next guy, but I legitimately don't understand why people do this outside of extreme porn addictions.

Yeah PoE was... disappointing. I mean I enjoyed it somewhat, mostly because I like fantasy settings with firearms, and I rolled my character as a Cipher dual-wielding blunderbusses which was incredibly OP. Every combat encounter was like 1) Run up to the nearest baddie, 2) Shoot him in the face with both guns; each shot is, IIRC, 8 separate shots, and I used that talent where every successful hit gives you +2 Focus so it would max out my resources, and then 3) Unleash a psychic nuke.
