Man IGN has been on a roll with the clickbait editorials and articles lately. Are they desperate for clicks?
I suppose so when you consider that even when putting aside the controversial tweet-headline, it's a wonder why an article is warranted when a popular internet personality, known in part for playing video games, beats a popular video game. Who else has gotten an article at IGN simply for beating Elden Ring? Is this case so remarkable because the guy is black?

Layoffs in progress. Game journalists in shambles.

What did this person do one may wonder.
Hiring this person is an invitation to trouble for your company. I'd only do it if I was hiring for a company similar to most game journalism outlets where my primary product was unhinged and nonsensical slactivism inflicted on the gaming industry (or possibly some other industry. Like golf! Imagine this guy writing retarded articles about golf. That'd show those golfers!)

I was willing to try and be fair - I don't know every writer for every publication after all.

https://www.gamesindustry.biz/authors/jeffrey-rousseau - Read a few articles and it's the some of the most boilerplate garbage I've ever read. Just very small recaps of "This company publicly announced it's going to open an office in Poland.", "This is what the <company> showed off during <demo>".

I counted what you could count as "effort articles" twice - and they're just small interviews or a bunch of small press releases stapled together. Really shocked it took this long for that site to get sold with articles like these.

Alyssa Mercante is going apeshit again, going after people criticizing her, and YouTubers.

And Alyssa deleted her post about the list of creators she made. Your typical "Rules for thee but not for me" hypocrisy. And she's still going after this person criticizing her. Kotaku must be really proud of her.

Uh-oh, she must have run out of her monthly crack allotment.

GamesIndustry.biz used to live in the bookmarks tab of every wannabe games dev, as it allowed them to pretend they're in the industry. For a supposedly industry focused site, I'm not aware of any article held up as good or important from them.

I wonder if that unearned image of being a serious website for serious people is how they held on so long? Yeah, it's full of the same ads disguised as articles as every other clickbait rag, but there's no headlines about chuds and Donald Trump on the front page.

This John Phipps (MagitekDad) has got to be the biggest Alyssa Mercante cuck I've ever seen. Criticize Alyssa Mercante, he jumps in to defend her. And he's the host/creator of Super Deluxe GamesCast.

He literally looks like a cuck.

And he acts like a diversity cuck too, prefers ugly woke-looking woke-Western "women" over beautiful women like Eve from Stellar Blade.

Why do they present it like if you were to date either one of them? I mean, one has severe mental problems and looks like she came out of an unhinged self-harming coke rage
Now you know why the Romans considered the barbarian tribes to be subhuman savages who need firm Roman guidance and bathing practices imposed upon them by force.
