As an education student myself, I giggle at his idiocy and conspiracy theory. Common core was literally designed to make us stop sucking so fucking much in the field of education. Before then, we had no standardized level of quality for education, and we were missing all the shit that students needed for the real world and for higher education. Brainwashing and all that jazz isn't really a goal; it's more along the lines of "by 3rd grade your writing should have all the basic gubbins. By 4th grade, these gubbins should be developed on, and by 5th grade be organized with reasoning and logic", all of which this guy seems to need by the way.
His word choice is fucking terrible by the way; I can tell that he wants to sound smart; his word choice is intentionally complex when a smaller string of words can say the same thing and reach a wider audience. It would also help if he slowed down his pacing, since he speaks too quickly for people to digest the words. Unless that's the point and he's actually trying to pave over his bunkem that way.

You see this in any situation where you have one group that talks like "the bad guys" are all-powerful. Eventually they start to believe it themselves, and that they are all that is left of good surrounded by a nearly supernatural evil. In that mindset there is no tactic that is considered off-limits, and those who say it is are looked upon as traitors.
Luckily by that point the group is usually more concerned with policing the thoughts of it's members then actually doing what it was set up to do, so they're mostly harmless to those on the outside.

Many of them do honestly see ant-gg the same way as an Alex Jonestard sees the NWO or illuminate or whatever boogeyman of the week. They see it as real threat that wants to harm them for their special knowledge, while the sheeple are blissfully unaware of their heroic struggle against this ultimate evil. And just like with a Jonestard that thought is comforting to them. It means that they are important and heroic and special and, most importantly, nothing is ever their fault.
