Also a reminder that said agendas have no doubt deviated towards autism. When was the last time they even talked about ethics in gaming journalism that wasn't thinking of some sort conspiracy theory?

That is something that some have brought up. We could of had a GamerGate back at least when there was something like the Kane & Lynch review that gave the game a low score despite Gamespot doing heavy sponsoring on it with said reviewer being fired/quitting. Really though, whether or not they started back then or a year ago, they would end up getting filled with the likes of people that can make it look more of a laughing stock.

No doubt there can be some. And as you say, they get drowned out by those that make one see how ridiculous the pro side can be.

"ethics cucks". Because caring what GamerGate was suppose to be about means one is an ethics cuck. In all honesty, these guys just reinforce how the pro-GamerGate side is something to be laughed at. As much as one can laugh at the anti-side, the pro-side has to also leak and spill the idiocy as well.

A little background, Sargon only cares about the ethics and not the label "gamergate" because who fucking cares? It doesn't matter what team you're on so much as your actual values. Basically, it's similar to when an interviewer asks a celebrity if they're a feminist, and they say something like "No. I don't consider myself a "feminist". I just believe in equality for everyone". And then the more extreme feminists absolutely lose their shit, because even though the celebrety values equality(the supposed goal of feminism), they dared to not adopt the label "feminist". This is like the gamergate version of that. The horseshoe theory circles around once more, where people people with an absolute hatred of SJWs become SJWs themselves.
 
It strikes me as amazing. Didn't these gamergate Exceptional Individuals make a big deal about how diverse their movement was and how many different sorts of people marched under their banner? #NotYourShield and all that? Yet here they are "excommunicating" one of their own bigshots for...God only knows what. Paying attention to what their movement was supposed to be about? Monty Python couldn't make parody half as good as this.

As much as how they can be more diverse than the anti side, one of their own being excommunicated (assuming it's the guy who claimed to be the movements founder) was due to trying to dox himself. Really, part of not your shield was just saying they aren't some shield for SJW's to justify in not liking something and at one point, the claimed founder doxed himself on Baphomet for some reason. Excommunication aside, note the guy doxed himself. That can no doubt be a special brand of idiocy right there.

Hell, GG showed that before (or after) Not Your shield. Not only did the anti side have autist, we already had one of our own kiwi's on the pro side (for those that forgot, Lord Balderdash/Lord Rainbowdash).
