I know GamerGate is pure tism of the culture wars that it left its mark and all but these people sound like the sort that deserve the phrase "go outside and touch grass" as one of them is showing. Like yeah changing systems can help but as a means to prevent GamerGate or another GamerGate so you don't get right wingers? Even without GamerGate you still get people swayed to the Right because of everything else going on. Only reason that holds any water was because you had people like Milo jumping on. None of these guys could laugh at pro-GG tards without getting MOTI because they may as well think ever GopherRaper must be some misogynerd right winger. You could take GamerGate out of it and you'd still get people ranting about shit that's vague beyond "MGTOW" and "REEEE woman."
GG has been attributed to anything and everything by shitty hack writers who are angry that the channer nerds just didn't roll over and die in face of their righteous crusade of white knightery.
