I tried to read through all those tweets but god damn...talk about not knowing when to quit. I agree with the person who said she enjoyed a man telling a woman what it's like to be a woman, that whole exchange revealed that guy's own prejudice against women (damsel in distress, I believe it's called?).

Reading the tweets of Streever, all that can be said is that you could either laugh or *sigh*. What Milky_Candy (the woman being lectured by Skeever, the guy,) tweeted was rather good though along with the tweets of others against Skeever.

There are some toys on the right side of the frame. The baskets look similar to ones I had as a kid that I used to store my toys. I could be wrong. *shrug*

Also good eye on finding the Game Cube. I didn't even notice that.

Uh, no.. Those aren't toys. They're little decorative dolls or something. I think one's a snowman. You know, like the kind you put up for Christmas?

Even if it was who cares if people fuck in the kid's room. It's their goddamn house. They fucked to make the kid in the first place.

Seriously, where do you get off drawing the moral line at where people can have sex? Maybe they should just freeze their cat instead.
 
I think I'd like that picture a lot more if it weren't for those blasted photos getting in the way.

I just think it's trashy to take nude photos where your kids sleep. Anyway, I took another look at the photo and I think you were right. With the other pictures it looks like it was taken in the living room. My bad.

I can't believe anyone would think that this is a good idea. Posting personal documents as a means of inciting harassment kinda invalidates the original argument that harassment against someone is unacceptable, plus when you're literally using somebody's character as a way to discredit their opinion you just make yourself look as @DeagleDad420 said completely desperate (now is probably a good time to apologise for my previous comments towards people in this thread; upon reflection they were completely irrelevant).

The usage of the term "crime" is tenuous at best; they're mostly just differences in opinion. It's not a crime to have a different opinion, no matter how vitriolic you perceive that opinion to be. Acting upon those opinions might cause crimes in themselves sure, but I can't be deemed a murderer if some asshole cuts in front of me in a line and I hyperbolically fantasise about pushing him off a cliff. No matter how abhorrent you find an opinion, you can't say it's wrong because it's a crime. You have to justify it in a way that shows why the opinion is wrong.

This whole situation is just getting more insane every day. If the main people involved in this whole situation just sat down and listened to each other, things would probably sort themselves out. When people address a disagreement with a certain level of decorum, chances are whoever they're addressing is going to feel less need to get defensive and respect what they say more.

Instead we're getting immature shit like this.

Bleh, just another article that claims all gamers are rabid misogynist males waiting for a woman to appear so they can eat them alive and painting Zoe and Anita as poor wittle victims fighting for feminism. It's an incredibly one sided blog post, with no mention of people like Sommers, Dawkins, or others that have called out the SJW's on #GG. I'm going to look up Nate Rott (the author of that blog post) to see what his connections are.

Edit: Nate isn't a SJW or part of the whole thing, he just seems horribly misinformed and didn't approach this too professionally. It looks like he reach out to people for the story via twitter, and SJW's probably e-mail spammed him their side.

That article is terrible. Kind of what I expected when I saw All Things Considered at the top. More like "All Convenient Things Considered to Push a Specific Narrative".

On my drive home All Things Considered ran this report. It was incredibly surreal hearing npr people say things like "hash tag gamergate" and "social justice warriors".

But it was just... A nothin piece. It began with a Zoe Quinn voice clip, ended with Leigh Alexander, and featured quotes about how awful Anita has it.

It did not include anything concerning ethics violation, or GameJournoPros, or idiots getting guys fired for supporting gamergate.

Nah. It's all about, and this is a Zoe quote from memory "men who hate strong women with loud voices taking always their boys club"

The pro-#GG really need to get their mainstream media game on if we want to win this, it's a race to see who can put together their story the quickest and mail it to a MSM journalist that covers this area of news and get their view out there into the un-informed public and average joe that reads the headlines.

If anyone does plan to do this, my tips are to write it up in a thorough and professional way, no bashing the other side, no showing of emotion or opinion. Include a link to all your sources, don't post things that the journalist or person who doesn't follow would be interested in like 4chan visitor stats etc. Just the facts, nothing more and nothing less (but do clarify things like the definition of SJW) and be to the point. Include screenshots of deleted twitter, or fb content with a date, and possible backup links to said pictures (like the wayback-machine etc.?) DO NOT include pictures like this:

The connection webs usually scream conspiracy theory and will probably get you dismissed since they lack real information. But most and foremost, check your facts before sending it in, because if you get one thing wrong and the journalist finds out, it could screw over your entire side of the argument and make you look like a liar.

But to sum it up, it's obvious the SJW's are moving up and are going to try to push the MSM their way now, so pro-#GG need to speak up so that more than one side is heard

Well, people tend to assume the worst. Remember "Loose Change"? A lot of people hated Dubya so much, when some neckbeards suggested the Bush administration murdered 3,000 people on 9/11... a lot of people believed it. "I wouldn't put it past the bastards" was the general consensus.

People are dismissing gamers as barking malcontents, which is bad, but... it's not at all surprising.
