I'm glad you guys are posting about other people in the field who're breaching conduct and being unethical.

The only response I got for my post was people saying I was too soft on Zoe and just kept bashing her solely. :/
 
And how people just assume Zoe got harassed about her crappy game because she's "A female developer".

I just went over the very first wizardchan post that demonstrated how much of a liar Zoe was initially.

It states that Zoe only found out about wizardchan because somebody from the CWCiki forums contacted her about the fact they were talking about her there.

While I don't think that somebody was actually a registered member, I do think this forum was the second domino. I mean, would her ex-boyfriend have the courage to make the blog that got this fired started if it weren't for wizardchan's original posts and the lies that followed it?

This is probably more slow than informative, but I feel like there's a lot more to this than the same points being brought up over and over by people. I just wish people cared.
 
Just finished watching a pretty decent video from ReviewTech about the whole steaming pile. They did a pretty decent job encapsulating what has been going on. Y'know, just in case reading is too much.

But if you can't include your Token Pronoun Friend then how can you truly achieve QUEER REPRESENTATION? (And seriously, none of those people are "coifed" :alog: )

I'm starting to think that part of this is sheer numbers, like maybe those with the skills to make indie games don't want to hang out with provocative manchildren and are mostly off doing other things. Can we guarantee that someone will exist such that they aren't friends with these developers but still care enough to cover them?

Rich unfortunately doesn't do that much research into his videos. He usually takes something at face value and rolls with it.

Thankfully his ego didn't get in the way and he produced another one to correct himself with Mundane Matt.
 
Is there anywhere relatively quick to know where / what this shit is going down at? You guys do fine and all but it seems like here and /v/ are the only places I've seen that haven't been put onto lockdown on the subject, and Christ try following a thread over there.
