Acting all high and mighty for people who benefited from an ISIS spambot without a complaint. And that's if they didn't specifically use it themselves which wouldn't be a surprise at fucking all.

Yet from what I hear, GG supporters are now contributing loads to anti-bullying charities. On top of that and TFYC, it's like GG'ers are gonna end up solving all the world's problems just as a middle finger to the useless twats who demonize them. I clearly approve.

Is this.. is this a big thing in Canada? I don't understand. They went from MSNBC and CNN to this? Am I missing something here? I don't understand what is happening. Is there a camera hidden somewhere?

Their website promos and soundclouds get like.. single digit Facebook likes and retweets. In August they had the topic "How Japanese Games are Inherently Sexist". It's seriously just a small SJW gamer radio show that nobody listens to.

This can't be what Zoe and Brianna were alluding to. It honestly can't be. Something else has to be going on.

Well some have rumored that Elizabeth Warren is supposedly gonna lend her support to Wu's idea of erasing online anonymity....

but that would literally be the absolute dumbest thing ANYONE would have done with regards to gaming EVER...

Gawker Media has for one of it's eight publishing arms Jalopnik, their car-centric blog. Jalopnik, as far as I can find, hasn't been involved in any kind of scandal. They just do their own thing, and mostly stay out of the Gawker/Jezebel/Kotaku triangle of drama. Until now. They would be the "friends" that Sam Biddle is asking you "not to hurt" when you get advertisers to pull out.

It's his whole shtick. He's a talentless hack with the ability to be incredibly catty, and Gawker loves his ability to write clickbait headlines and piss off the suckers who aren't already their readers. They've been attacked before, sued by tons of people - but there's the problem. The usually win, it's all stuff they're legally allowed to say because it's not libel - it's truth mixed with exaggerations for "comedic effect".

Not once that I can remember have they been attacked by a decentralized movement with no leader, no concern about going to court, with unlimited time and resources, and who know how to actually hurt them. They showed up on foot to a bike race and are really pissed everyone is cheating.

If anyone didn't email Gawker's partners yesterday, they can use this as extra ammo. I don't think it's really needed, though, as the bullying angle seems to be working well.

Judging by the replies I've seen and received, Nissan and Lexus aren't pulling their ads, and Ford is sympathetic but undecided. Last night somebody on 8chan posted that Bonobos was pulling away, but now I can't find a confirmation on that.

Seeing as how this is the third one to compare GamerGate to ISIS/ISISL, one has to wonder what the two share in common aside from the perceived hatred of women GG is said to have (according to detractors who just want to be right and self-righteous and whatnot). Comparing them to a terrorist group is just nothing more than an immature insult.

An old DNC friend of mine that I helped out informed me that Warren's staff currently has no intention of responding to it. This stands to reason as Warren herself has pretty steadfastly been a consumer advocate. I really don't like repeatedly conflating them with OPL, but they do share his incapacity to understand form letters.

You know that this is one of those tiny tidbits of unintentional humor that I've found in all of this. SJW's bitching about how Japanese games are sexist, yet they fail to realize that in the land of tentacle rape hentai and other forms of fucked up porn, that maybe the Japanese don't really find this all that offensive.

The world is not solely comprised of uppity North American white people that must subscribe to the SJW ideal.

I bet that if they ever realize that most of the world doesn't really care about their brand of feminism, or making games to their liking, they'll probably ask some pol to put a trade embargo on Japan, lol.
 
well both quinn and wu are cackling about something "big" next week that wu thinks will get her into some vidya hall of fame (she actually said that....not narcisisitic at all) which can only either be

a) more shitty hit pieces which fail to do anything but annoy GG
b) bringing politicians which will bring flocks of said politician's enemies to GG
c) making some new shit up which will be found out and infuriate GG

Many of us are in our 40s. Lots of people started with Pong clones and stayed. WE TARGET DEMOGRAPHIC NOW BITCHES I've been truing to get people to understand just how much power that gives us.
