People who make the threats don't get that the more you threaten these people. THE MORE SUPPORT AND LEVERAGE THEY GET. The only way for gamergate to make any push forward is to keep exposing bullshit and start separating the community surrounding it from people sending out threats.

I doubt these people are really interested in Gamergate and just enjoy the multiplied outrage that such actions usually provide.

edit: But then again I still sometimes underestimate the stupidity of people (on the internet).

Infrequently checking Google news feeds today, seems pretty stupid that the first time mainstream news seems to cover what's been going on for months (if you don't count previous YEARS) is boo hoo poor Anita getting death threats without truly understanding the context of what is fucking happening. One psycho, if the threats are real, does not an entire group mindset make.
