The high water mark of trolling Chris was almost ten years ago and it's been dying for at least the last five.
This fact alone didn't stop the Idea Guys or Janke from trying to squeeze some tard cum several years after the high water mark passed in 2009, and even after Chris' relevancy was seemingly dropping after the Gamestop Macing incident in 2014 (it sure as shit isn't stopping Praetor from extorting and grifting money out of Chris). And who is to say that some dumb ween isn't going to make an arse of themselves trying to outdo THEM in their trolling plans and cause another monumentally dumb flare-up that reaches the International News sphere thanks to the way the Internet functions as a means of distributing any information about anyone.
One thing I learned very quickly here when studying any lick of info on the numerous Lolcows, A-Logs, General Internet Lunatics and other Online Eccentrics listed here is that as long as they are either alive or still have a connection to the outside world,
people WILL continue to take an interest in them, and if that someone is as infamous as either Chandler or Winkler, that intrigue is either national or even global and in many cases the people who orbit them, no matter how loose their connection is, are just as, if not, crazier than the primary Person of Interest that led to their initial orbiting. History, like Mother Nature herself, has a very demented sense of humour, and it gets particularly cruel and psychotic when said humour involves History repeating itself.
Never, ever underestimate a person's ability to ignore basic logic, previous lessons of History and clear-cut orders to cease any activity that is evidently idiotic.
I made that mistake with Chris, YandereDev and especially DSP and LowTierGod. When people say "The Internet never forgets" that's not some moniker or cheap quip thrown around casually or as an innocent meme,
but a constant, everpresent warning to everyone online and even offline that a person's actions regardless of who they are or what they advocate for, are not only online for good, and not only are their past errors preserved forever, but it's there to be dredged up again in time by anyone for any reason, and it almost always leads to more misery and lulzy drama in the future, short-term and long-term. Be it from the Person of Interest or the Ween/A-Log/Orbiter and the people who merely involve themselves with them directly or indirectly. Jeremy Keith is full of shit here, most of these people's lives and antics have been documented and comprehensively archived for over 15-20 years by now, and just when we assume the story is over or dwindling in relevancy, another twist, revelation and public shitshow subsequently happens that involves them and the people around them, and public interest spikes up again, continuing the story for better or worse, usually both at the same time.
They're like Internet Tardigrades resisting high doses of Radiation,
they've remained in the public lexicon and online knowledge space for decades at this point, and there's
always some brand-new fucking Orbiting Ween who comes up from the floorboards to make things more idiotic than they already were beforehand. While I initially assumed (incorrectly) that the flames will die down, they either kept burning or increased in intensity.
