I seriously doubt Barb herself would be cleaning out jack. It's more a matter of her being too weak to resist.
Not necessarily of her own volition. Wouldn't be surprised if a family member is twisting her arm somehow and they've come to a compromise where she has to throw out X number of bags a week or something. Plus if that were the case she would definitely be starting with Chris's shit first because time and time again she's shown she didn't really give a shit about his possessions even before he diddled her.

Is it better because she was dead?
Dude. Yes. If someone was going to rape you, would you rather be alive or dead?

That's nothing compared to Chris?!
There’s a running joke on the forums which goes like this: “What [evil piece of shit person] did is nothing compared to Chris.”

I can see the family notifying Chris's lawyer that they are getting rid of the house and allowing him to retrieve small personal things to hold for Chris's release.
I dunno about that. They don’t seem to want to have anything to do with him. Justifiably so. I do like imagining Heilberg visiting the hoard, though. Even knowing it would be some intern or something actually doing it.

If Chris was told he can only save just one thing from the house, it's going to be the Sonichu binders.
I can mentally picture him saving some irrelevant pony cosplay item instead. Because he’s Chris.

Also, you double-posted
The boards keep doubleposting shit.

I think she never think that way. She robably don't think at all.
Most of Barb's decisions have been dumb. Like Chris, she just got comfortable enough to do what she wanted, but when Bob died, she started going downhill. This is why putting all one's hopes on someone like Chris is the dumbest thing someone can do. If she was smarter, she would have directed Chris not to go to the Game Place, but Chris, in his autistic logic, thought that Snyder left (due to a "new management" banner on the front of the store), and the rest is Christory.

Presumably they've already started clearing out his stuff and he's still in jail with no say in what goes in the bin. Maybe if he's released they'll give him a crack at what's left, but until Chris is out Barb and whoever's helping are tossing as much of his stuff as they can manage.

One possibility that's a bit of a stretch is that someone from the family informed him they're getting rid of his toys, and he got a limited say in what can stay. But knowing Chris, he'll demand everything stays and they'll just disregard that.

Barb is very low IQ, obviously Chris is more similar to his mother's side of his family.

Hey now it wasn't Chris's fault. He was totally right to assume that the new manager may have been another guy who just happened to be named Mike. It was only a one in a million chance that it happened to be Snyder.

I know Heiberg placed a hold on who can communicate with Chris via letters, but does the same go with other forms of communication (in-person visitations and phone calls)? With the bolded, Chris has to be sedated after hearing that news.

Remember when Barb suggested she throw away Chris' anime pillows? He was having none of it. Also, when she threw away a bagful of his stuff. Chris let her know how he felt.

I will say the smart thing would call to make sure. Once Chris went through those doors, all hell broke loose.

Chris is at least smart enough to know the master Sonichu comics could potentially be worth thousands of dollars to some Christorian with more money than sense. Selling the totem + crumplelope + other shit has already drilled into him that people are willing to drop ridiculous sums on Christorical artifacts. My guess is that if he was going to grab anything out of that room, it would be the thing he could sell for the most amount of money (which he can use to buy Lego, of course).

Granted, who knows if they've been thrown in the trash already or not.

The sonichu comics are similar like Bob's stamp collection. There's nothing that Chris really values except fast entertainment and costly plastic. This guy would sell his soul, if presented the opportunity. Chris tried to sell himself online once.

Are you talking about those two times he tried to be an escort?

Yes he understands that the master copies of the Sonichu comics would be worth more than their weight in gold, especially with his inflated ego, but I doubt even if the family directly told him "hey, we're only keeping one thing, what'll it be?", he'll have enough sense to tell them to keep the comic binder instead of throwing a fit and wasting the chance by insisting they keep everything.

If your source is The Visit, you need a better source.

Doubt.

He might know that in his brain meat, but he would go for something he is emotionally attached to first. Maybe that is the binders, but consider how stupid he is.

Maybe "smart" is the wrong word, but I don't know what else he could be that attached to. His high school ring?

Chris is a very sentimental person, but the last few years pre-arrest he began consistently exploiting his online infamy for financial gain and has seen some degree of success from it. Selling the Sonichu comics would be the ultimate opportunity to do that.

You know what, I just realized I'm thinking about this from the perspective of what the most logical thing to do is. Chris is far from a logical person. He probably would end up just grabbing some stupid shit like a broken Pokewalker.

Since we're on the topic of prized possessions. Can anyone confirm Chris' medallion is in prison holding for personal belongings? I doubt he'd be able to bring it with him, and by not having it. Do you think he's replaced it with a rosary or paper version?

Back on topic. I'm hard pressed on either the commodore since it's his physical manifestation as a couple goddess, or his comics as if they are lost. Through Chris' eyes, they would all die (hence why there is no reboot outside of laziness).

Now we’re on the same page. You just never know with him. He could save the comics, he could save his stupid ring, or he could save his mlp pillowcase. And he would have a confusing paragraph’s worth of justification.

I remember being surprised when I read he bought a bed instead of trash that one time. Even knowing it was because he was sick of his mom treating him like a teddybear, that’s still extra logical for Chris.

He was wearing it when arrested so it has to be. Everything you have on you when arrested is bagged, itemized, and returned to you upon release. They only things not returned are illegal items (drugs, autosears, endangered snakes et al) and perishables (endangered snakes, half eaten Hot Pockets, 4 year and 364 day old tritium et al).

On August 1st, 2021, some Screw had to go through Chris's possessions and write out "Cartoon horses pen, pink crystal rocks, $4.83," and "yellow cartoon rabbit necklace" while another Screw made Chris squat, hold his ass cheeks open, and cough.
