I doubt the dear old thing even knows what's going on even if she did know all of the Chandler belongings are being hauled out.

The foreclosure sign will be the heralding before the obituary, if there is one.
 
Maybe I becoming an a-log, but I really hope Chris's toys are being thrown out and it's not a ween trying to mess with him. It would be the one thing that would really get to him and show him there's consequences for being a deranged tard, and after what he did, he definitely deserves to lose his precious toys and original sonichu comics.

Agreed on the toys, though I do kinda hope the original Sonichu comics (if they still exist, I'm not sure if they've been destroyed) are preserved in physical form somehow. That shit is one-of-a-kind autism history.

This is what'll happen. I don't think the banks will care enough to fix it themselves, so they'll put in some token effort (basically just making sure it's not a biohazard and a few safety code things) and sell it to someone who'll actually do a full renovation.

Unfortunately it's very unlikely the comics will survive. Barb tossed the classic without a second thought when Chris went to Bronycon for a whole two days, so it's not like she cares about the relics of fail. In some ways it's probably best that the comics just get tossed, because if they did survive I doubt they'd end up in the hands of anyone reputable.

Tbh my eyes glaze over at the mortgage shit, so I'm not even sure what kind of entity will end up with it. Any big bank is not going to care and will just dump it on whoever has a remotely reasonable offer in a short sale. It's possible a small regional bank or a credit union that ended up with it might actually do something themselves.

I think it's a really scummy operation that deals with white trash suckers though and that they probably got a really bad deal that will end up with it being sold to other low-rent operators who will either flip it after doing a minor facelift on it or rent it out to other white trash.
 
One thing I haven't seen people talk about in the CWC museum discussion is, the junk will already be cleared out.

People might come far and wife if the house had velvet ropes guiding people so they don't disturb the horde on their way to his room full of toys and video games, where they can see the classic, the Sonichu medallion, and the Sonichu masters, maybe even wax statues of Borb and Chris.

If it's just an empty house that once had horde and CWC in it, what's the point? You'd have to meticulously recreate the horde and classic and medallion and masters, at which point, you could do that in New York or anywhere other than 14 Branchland Court

Great idea, you could have a travelling show with the artifacts of Christory just like Tutankhamun who also had a hoard of stuff and is known for a supposed curse on his tomb. While looking him up, I found that Tutankhamun is suspected of having gynecomastia and an intellectual disability, among various other disorders likely associated with his incestuous family.

The bank that owns the mortgage will simply foreclose on it since I doubt any family member is going to take up the mortgage payments. Which means they'll hire somebody to sweep through the house making sure it's in a sellable state and then auction it off to the highest bidder. It's not unusual during these kinds of sellings for somebody to get a house with a bunch of shit from the previous owner still in it.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. I can see the family notifying Chris's lawyer that they are getting rid of the house and allowing him to retrieve small personal things to hold for Chris's release.

If Chris was told he can only save just one thing from the house, it's going to be the Sonichu binders.

What I'd be interested in is what will be done with the property in full like Mr. C's old shed and Patti's doghouse. The latter is almost certainly going to be binned due to neglect, but the former might still be somewhat salvageable unless it's just a rotten mess inside as well.

I'm sorry, but despite what happened to Barb, both Chris molesting her and her car accident, I cannot feel sorry for her. Bob put in all the work so she and Chris can live in relative comfort, only for her to be just as irresponsible as Chris and get a mortgage to either buy more things, and hire a high priced lawyer just to one up a hobby store manager to vindicate themselves over an 'unjust county' (or both). Yeah, Barb must've thought "I'll beg my sister, who I have a sour relationship with to help me with the payments." If she cared about her home or Chris, she wouldn't hoard and she would have never thought of getting a mortgage, but she thought because Chris is famous, he'll get money from his "art", it's easier said than done when Chris copies Barb's spending habits and is in the situation she is now. It's either Barb didn't think this through, or she really thought Chris was going to save the day, despite his actions (or inactions).

moral of the story, don't hitch your hopes on a demented autist. You're just setting yourself up for disappointment.

I think, like everything else, it's hoarded up and rotting. Might as well tear it down. The Dream Studio has turned into a nightmare.
