England did win U-20 and U-17 World Cups this year though.
Let's be honest here for a moment. Does anyone really about the U-X or women's leagues? Like no contest they've both got amazing teams (especially US Women's) but they just don't make the world go apeshit like the lads do.

The youth tournaments always feature a few future stars though.

My comment was part in jest, part serious. While it is promising that England's had success at the younger levels recently, there's no knowing how those players will turn out at the senior level. I mean, the England team of 10 or so years ago was super talented, and yet their most notable accomplishment was failing to qualify for the Euros in 2008

Well, I think this will be the season that Philadelphia Union win the MLS Cup.

>Ronaldo out
>Kovačić out
>Navas replaced by Courtois (good?)
>Zidane left after last CL
What's future like for these guys?

I'm not referring to Eggball being played by the Americans. So I apologize Hulkster, but I'm going to talk about futbol here, the real football.

So here are the latest news for this week:

Patrick Neymar signed a 5 year deal for Barca.
David Moyes taps Guillermo Valara from the Uruguayan Div 1 league and signed him for a 1 year $1m contract for Manchester United.
Pellegrini coaching Manchester "Shitty".
Manchester Shitty eyes on signing Fernandhino.
Holy shit, this feels eons ago. Now the premier league is more pozzed as fuck ever and kneeling even for BLM when they have stopped doing it stateside.

Some interesting facts about jurgol in South America as of lately:

Defensa y Justicia, a team from a backwoods suburban satellite city in the Greater Buenos Aires area, is making waves as the newest Argentinian powerhouse.

After years of pure shit and suffering, São Paulo FC is back to its usual place as a top contender, having won the State Championship last Sunday after a nine-year dry spell. It helps they now have a good coach in Hernán Crespo. Premier League and Serie A fans will remember him.

There was supposed to be a "special" edition of Copa America to be held last year in both Colombia and Argentina. The 'rona ended up postponing it to this year. Welp, about that... Due to the totally spontaneous waves of protests in Colombia, the local government relinquished its hosting status. And due to the coof being still at too damn high levels in Argentina, they are unsure they can carry the brunt of hosting it entirely, especially after announcing they intended to let a few fans in. Now they are speculating hosting it in either Chile, Paraguay or Venezuela for... reasons. Whether there will or not be this travesty remains to be seen.

I'm not sure how smart hosting it in Venezuela would be given the political climate at the moment.
It wasn't even supposed to be held anyways. They came up with the excuse that it's to "rearrange" the dates so that Copa America is held in even years, in the same time frame as the Eurocup and the Olympic Games. The last edition was already held in Brazil in 2019 and Ecuador is already slated to be the host in 2024, for that matter.

Nobody cares about the Olympic games.

Which team of millionaire Jiggaboo’s will win the Final?

The Norf Bloos or the Sarf Bloos?

Bring the cup home for Ngubu. He's always in my heart.

And Chelsea won. Good. Fuck City, and fuck Arab "investors", and fuck Fraudiola.

On the other hand, social media are going crazy over the fact the Chelsea goalie is from Senegal, the first African goalie to win the CL, first black goalie since Dida to win it, how this is historical, blah blah blah. Good goddamn, can't you just report the entire team's victory?
