It was a FINAL, you MONG.Are you retarded. If someone ever says the words Germany v Brazil they always mean the final match of FIFA Brazil in 2014 where Germany stomped Brazil 7-1 which gave them generational trauma that still exists today.
tbh i think the team was extremely fatigued and burnt out by this point, playing most matches to the very edge took its toll and it showed. The team looked exhausted almost immediately. But if you think conceding only one goal with one man down in extra time is worse than the historical 7-1 then that's full on cope.It was a FINAL, you MONG.
And even then check this out:

Do you understand how bad Argentina was? It wasn't a matter of Germany scoring 1 or 7, it was what Argentina did with the ball, what game did they play, what was their plan, how they played and this is the result:

Even an already DEAD Brazil still played better than Argentina in a way worse condition. What the stats says about this is that Spanish attack was fucking terrible.
ARGENTINA first shoot was in 120'+1 and it was flying higher than harry kane penalty kicks.
NO TEAM IN THIS ENTIRE 104 GAMES DID AS BAD AS THEM. Do you understand?
This is even more humiliating than 7x1. Argentina was absent in their own party. The only one who appeared to the final was Dibu. On 7x1 Neymar was injured, this game Messi was in the pitch and the only thing he did was kicking a ball at the spanish defender.
SPAIN WINS!!
It's dey culchaSo why do the Argentinians always act so poorly when losing or a decision goes against them? Any time they get challenged- they immediately cry to the ref and beg for a reversal or VAR check. When they go to kick the shit out of another soccer player - its all "wasn't me guv!"
The 7-1 game lives in infamy for a reason but one has to admit that a team not even shooting on goal in a World Cup final is pretty wild.tbh i think the team was extremely fatigued and burnt out by this point, playing most matches to the very edge took its toll and it showed. Edit: the 7-1 was also on home turf to add salt to the wound.
I agree, not a great showing from the argie nt, they were slow, inaccurate, and didn't seem to have many ideas on how to attack. The 7-1 game lives in infamy for a reason but one has to admit that not even shooting on goal in the final of the World Cup is pretty wild.
Reddit is mad:

Factual point about Brazil. They were the favorites as the home team and looked stacked everywhere except at striker that cup.tbh i think the team was extremely fatigued and burnt out by this point, playing most matches to the very edge took its toll and it showed. All the Latin American, but especially South American (COMEBOL) sides act this way.So why do the Argentinians always act so poorly when losing or a decision goes against them? Why would they be fatigued and burnt out anymore than Spain? They did not face any team above rank 15 (Switzerland) until the semi-finals and before that it was no team above rank 23 (Austria). Between the semi-finals and final match they did have one less day than Spain to recover but after 72 hours if someone is not fit to play another match there is an injury and one more day won't help. By every other measure Argentina should have been the healthiest team in the knockout stage.tbh i think the team was extremely fatigued and burnt out by this point, playing most matches to the very edge took its toll and it showed.
