Futbol thread.

That Egyptian goal was disallowed over a toe poke that happened over a minute or two ago on the other side of the field?
Argie player had possession and dribbled past egyptian, egyptian player steps on argie and trips him. This allows Egypt to recover the ball, and in an uninterrepted play take it across the field and score, in less than a minute or so. It was a clear foul, that resulted in loss of the ball, and in the same, uninterrupted play a goal. Rules are crystal clear.

Also, I don't know if it was because the arg-egypt match had 3 french refs, but next france match will have similar ref team made from argies.

Well.

Shit.

RIP Messi bros.

Please stop shitting up Community Happenings.
Threads being sponsored or put in community happenings is the worst thing for nice niche threads. I had to unfollow this thread due to all the one sentence shitter and /pol/ fags who should all be thread banned. If Josh wants to make more money he should allow for supporters to pay for threads to be banned from being featured. To all the drive by shitters kill yourself now.
I genuinely hope you die in the most violent method possible. I hate child fuckers like you more than words can describe.

I know I’m super late to the Belgium versus USA conversation, but I just watched a recap video in a bar.

Holy fuck what was Americas Goalkeeper smoking? He actually looked like… if you asked me to be a goalkeeper.

I’m surprised the coach didn’t bench him for that and put out the sub after he quite literally watched the ball roll into the goal because he was way way way overextended.

The goalie literally did a :stress:

Americans are even bigger goyim in every aspect of their life experience than Europeans? No way? Almost like jews went to America for a reason.
Also, nothing at all about "Europeans expect bad stuff to happen to them" the Americans just see sporting competitions as ways of making money and entertainment rather than being a competitive thing that has rules, boundaries and a desire to win the trophy rather than make FIFA some money.

Americans DON'T KNOW THIS: Your local European sports club making money by selling players or increasing ticket prices makes sense because it means they can invest in infrastructure, stadium for your other local players or be able to buy better players, however none of that is the same in American sports, your club making money doesn't benefit you in any way. Same goes with international teams, nobody cares how much FIFA can make from exploiting fans.

Do you wanna know why I didn't post during Colombia game? I felt asleep during the match.

I watched the first half and sleeped until 103 minutes, then watched it again, then sleep again I only woke up when the narrator screamed, after Colombia first pen loss, then I watched it to the end and fell asleep the night through

It was a clear foul, that resulted in loss of the ball, and in the same, uninterrupted play a goal.

If it was a clear foul, why wasn't it called?

I won't pretend to be a soccer expert, but I've seen a million fouls called this World Cup and the play is stopped when it happens. I've also only seen VAR used to determine offsides or a potential card. I've never seen it used to call a regular foul from 30 seconds and 4 passes ago on the other end of the field, and only after the goal is scored. Are there other examples of this?

So I wouldn't consider that crystal clear. And I'm glad Egypt shit the bed and Argentina won, but to pretend that was a normal usage of VAR and an above board call is silly.
