Its not just the future financial backing. Liverpool are a well oiled machine that are consistently moving forward. They are already replacing their star front 3 with Jota, Diaz, and probably Nunez or someone else. The midfield is solid along with the back line and the U-23s are probably going to provide some talent as well. Liverpool are a machine that need someone who can run it and Klopp is the guy right now. Liverpool will back him until he stops producing results and I don't see that happening for a whileKlopp contract extension confirmed
Was meant to run out in 2024, extended to 2026. It sounds like he's going to get greater financial backing and there's an option to extend.
I think it'll be Nkunku, personally. Current rumours suggest that Tchouameni is coming in in the summer, too. If they can manage those two, get Salah locked down, and get the right-back equivalent of Tsimikas then I don't think even City (even with Haaland) can stop them. Its not just the future financial backing. Tchouameni and Nkunku in that midfield along with Thiago and Fabinho would be just too good. I wouldn't count City out but I think Liverpool would have a bigger edge on City if they add them to the roster.I think it'll be Nkunku, personally. For the future, I'm hoping they don't replace Klopp with Gerrard, the best thing they could do is promote Pep Ljinders to the helm and keep the momentum. Given that Milner is coming to the end of his career it'd probably be a good idea (if he wants to go into coaching) to retain him as a player/coach.
Why? Was he ever meant to have more than an advisory role?Ralf Rangnick will continue to advice Manchester United while being the Austrian national team coach. What a giant blow to United as a club
Poch claims both he and Mbappe are going to stay at PSG next year.
He was meant to have an advisory role. Be someone dedicated to helping the entire club turn around. Now he just shows up on the weekend and collects a pay check while coaching AustriaWhy? Was he ever meant to have more than an advisory role?
More rumors. The rumor mill has begunMbappe wtf are you thinking nigga? Get out of there while you're still young.
There is a reason that no other national team coach does anything other than coach the national team. It requires a lot of behind the doors work. Being weighed down by having to get Austria to qualify for the Euros with some aging players needing to be replaced. Its not an easy job but trying to fully run a mid level European country into a major tournament while trying to turn around United isn't going to workTBF international coaching is hardly a full time thing, outside of international breaks the most he'll be doing is scouting, and he'll have scouts for that anyway. So he can still advise United on how they need to get rid of everyone
I guess the third time was the charm.
Leeds were never going to get points until Brenton and Brighton. But even with those points, it should put them over the edge. Unless Everton play like its 2010 again, they won't be picking up many pointsBurnley scored all three today in the Watford clash, putting them at 34 points and with a better GD than Leeds. Because of that, Leeds are now dragged back into the bottom scrap if they fail to get a result from City of all teams. Because the only remaining fixtures they have are Arsenal, Chelsea, Brighton and Brentford. Oft.
Everton's survival chances are re-opened.
Good. Let's hope the rest of them follow soon. An absolute cancer to football.Well, Mino Raiola is really dead this time. Rip.
There's a joke about him rinsing the devil in this but I'm too busy watching a video to make it myself.
