Who do you think is going to get relegated from the Premiership at this rate? Realistically, I do not foresee Watford, Burnley, Newcastle or Norwich pulling in enough points to claw out of the drop zone. However the recent run of form for Leeds, Everton, Southampton and Palace could see a some curious pieces swap places. Especially when the transfer window opens up.
Palace will stay up I reckon. We were looking at a top 6 place a couple of weeks ago if we hadn't bottled leads in the 95th minute. We beat City with a full team but got on a bad run after Macca got injured and Luka didn't work out. Now that Viera is putting Will Hughes in the middle with Gallagher and we've still got Eze and Olise on the bench, our midfield is solid. We're not going to Europe this year but we're not getting relegated either.

I think the current relegation zone stays the same, I don't see anyone winning enough games to be safe.

Damn it, hope it's the exception rather than the norm, fucking coof

Update on the Lindelof chest clutching incident from Saturday

Sergio Aguero is apparently about to announce his retirement after going off clutching his chest a couple of months ago and later supposedly being diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat.

Spurs has 8 coof victims currently. Called off UEFA Conference League last Thursday. Last I heard 46 Prem players positively tested so maybe another shut down?

Hmm..

Following his latest disciplinary breach last week, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will no longer be our club captain, and will not be considered for selection for Wednesday's match against West Ham United.

We expect all our players, particularly our captain, to work to the rules and standards we have all set and agreed.

We are fully focused on tomorrow’s match.

what did he do?

- The critical incident occurred earlier this week. Following the defeat to Everton, Aubameyang sought permission to travel to France. He was granted permission to travel to France on Wednesday on the condition that he returned that night.

- Aubameyang did not return on Wednesday night. He instead returned on Thursday morning and sources suggested he was on time for training, but as far as Arsenal are concerned, the infraction had already occurred.

- The problem was compounded by confusion regarding the COVID-19 protocols. Aubameyang underwent a test in France prior to returning to the UK and believed that would be sufficient for him to resume training immediately on Thursday. Under current guidance, however, a PCR test is required with isolation until receiving a negative result, precluding you from going anywhere (including place of work) in the meantime.

- For some at Arsenal, Saturday was a display of strong management from Arteta. He took a clear, principled stance on a situation, and was effectively vindicated by a positive results. For others at the club, the affair was an unnecessary case of airing dirty laundry in public. There are disciplinary issues at football clubs all over the country but in the most cases we don't hear about them.

- The tattoo is of no significance/relevance.

- There are those around the club who will attest to Aubameyang being a popular figure, but that opinion is not universally shared. Others felt that even though concessions have been made for him, he has not always toed the line. They argue that while Arteta has shown a willingness to bend the rules for him, the player still manages to break them.

- Despite his popularity, there are those within the camp who question his suitability for the captaincy. Although influential, he is not a stereotypical leader.

- If Arteta intends to begin phasing Aubameyang out of the first team, removing him as captain could help make it easier to leave him out. On the other hand, stripping him of his leadership role could make a key player feel disaffected. Aubameyang is part of a tight dressing-room group with Lacazette and Pepe. Given the influence, it may be wise to keep them onside.

- At present there is no indication of how long Aubameyang's absence will last. There are only three games (after West Ham) before he is scheduled to join Gabon. If he is not re-introduced by then, his absence could be for some time.

Piers Morgan's saying that it was to visit his sick mother though

He could have been stripped of his captaincy off form alone. Been abysmal since he signed that exorbitant contract.

Which is why if Arsenal ever get relegated, it will be a joyous occasion.
That and they have the muggiest fan base going. Always whinge. Never sing, and when they do they only have two songs ("WE LOVE YOU ARSENAL. WE DO." and the oh-so-creative "we allll love arsenal..." to the fucking lurpak spreadable song). They're such wet blankets that they never even had a firm. Utter fannies the lot of them.

The worst part about Arsenal is that they have a bunch of superfan faggots who have their own youtube show called Arsenal Fan TV where they have literal downs syndrome tier takes and act like a draw away to Liverpool is about as horrifying as three holocausts put together.

One of them said something slightly racist and got bollocked and then fucking died, one down about 4 to go.

Claude was about the only Arsenal fan I felt sorry for. Ty is absolutely delusional in his blind loyalty. Troopz and DT’s rants were funny, but they’re absolute mugs/wannabe tough guys. Some of the other goofs that split off from Don Robbie like Lee Gunner are kind of cringe.

Arsenal fans at this point would beg to draw vs Liverpool or any of the top six teams at this point, they’re almost always getting smashed by them nowadays. It’s a shame Arteta kind of fixed a few things because Arsenal flirting with relegation at the beginning of the season was fabulous.

Imagine if City is able to sign him after passing on Kane last summer. They will look like geniuses.
