I think this Portugal team will go to the final assuming Santos has the balls to keep Ronaldo on the bench. There's really no way he can put him back in the starting 11, not after what we saw today. This team is as good as Brazil or France when he's not slowing them down.

What was Bellingham’s career progression and how did he end up in Germany before being scouted by an EPL club? Seems like one that slipped under the radar.

Brazil x Croatia - I really don't see how Croatia can pass by our team, but I don't expect this to be an easy match either. Don't be surprised if this goes to extra time, but it would be unbelievable if the checkered guys made it through.

Netherlands x Argentina - May or may not be the closest matchup in the quarterfinals, but I still give the Clockwork Orange the edge. If the argies really want to pass, they need to correct their glaring errors pronto.

France x England - Whoever wins, we win and lose in equal grounds. My money is still on France, though.

Morocco x Portugal - The maghrebs have already made history, but I'm not too keen on their chances against Portugal. They really are in beast mode.

The only relevant info I was able to gather is that Ronaldo's only real offer so far is from Saudi Arabia, Hazard has retired from international football, and the head of the German FA has stepped down but not Hansi Flick

In today's match the second goal by portugal was by Pepe, a born and raised brazilian that choose portugal as his country. And there is also Hakimi who was born and raised on spain and played against them by choosing Morocco.
Neither made wrong choices, but both NT benefitted from it for sure.

See, this is the right way to see things. So what if they undermine our national identity, fuck up our economy, rape massive numbers of white kids. Ngbo scores the goals, and really what matters, is BskyB earns massive amounts of money by turning the English league system into a corpo entity.

I would happily never win a single world or euro cup ever again, if our team was actually fucking English for a change.

1) Bierhoff stepping down was long overdue.
2) It was never on the line that Flick would go no matter how the WC would turn out.

Both decisions make sense.

1) Bierhoff messed up a lot of decision for the German national team but the most notoriousingly would be that he was the one who insisted in keeping Löw after the 2018 debacle - and not only once but twice.
Löw should just have stepped down after 2018. Him fucking up the 2018 WC damaged his reputation just a bit bc of him winning the WC in 2014. Everyone was like "Yeah, ok, that was complete dog shit but you know what? Shit happens. Thanks for winning the WC, you did good, but please go now. We need a restart" but he refused and Bierhoff supported him. Then came the 2020 (2021) Euro Cup and Germany fucked up again. Not as dramatic as the 2018 WC bc we left the group stage unlike in the 2018 WC but got immediately knocked out in the Bo16 matches against France. And the national team showed all the flaws and issues they had in 2018. And yet Löw didn't want to go and was still supported by Bierhoff. That was when Bierhoff basically lost all major support within DFB so it was clear that if Germany should fuck up the WC again that Bierhoff's head will roll.

2) Flick is still kind of fresh meat as coach. At least as head coach bc before becoming head coach he was assistant coach for Germany and won the 2014 WC under the lead of Löw. After that he went on a 5 year hiatus from being a coach (he worked for the DFB during that time but not as coach). He then joined Bayern as assistant coach and after half a year became head coach and had this half season where he won everything a club coach can win. But truth is this was kind of a freak accident, a once-in-a-lifetime-moment. No coach can repeat this after doing it once. So the expectation was indeed a bit lower for his 2nd year with Bayern. He then only won the Bundesliga championship but this season was plagued by a lot of injured players, the team being burned out and internal fights with management. That's why he left Bayern.

Germany didn't look that good at this year's WC but it isn't that bad in fact. The team has two major issues:
- The defence line isn't stable
- The offence fails to converse chances into goals

During the Japan match Flick made some mistakes that contributed to the loss. For both issues a solution might be already given:
- The defence line needs to play more often to get a feel for each other like the players have in their clubs. This may be tricky bc the national team will only have 12 matches until the next torunament.
- If he can keep his level it's Füllkrug

The next Euro Cup -which we host in 2024- will decide over Flick's future and how will be seen as coach.

You being english should now better than anyone, are england really the best place to live? Even without all pakis, blacks and foreigners, england would still be a shit island and worst: packed with english people.

Lets be real here mate, your national identity is a thing of the past, the world where it was built and flourished because of it doesnt exist in that way anymore. England isnt relevant, I cant think for a single thing that England produces that has an impact in the world nowadays (I guess football and english players taxes bringing up the value of players is the most impact that you guys have). Your case is almost literally the same with portugal vs brazil and England vs USA, your country got outshined by your former colony and all you can grasp is the idea of the past, even more when your former colony is an example of how a country was built by other people from outside.

The audacity to think england would be better with more chavs and slags instead of others is a fucking joke lol, and that is not even related to football, but in general.

What does "chavs" and "slags" mean?

I know what slag is (stuff you get from melting metal) and I have played Borderlands but both doesn't make sense and Google translator shows mean some weird Hindu stuff for "chavs".

A chav is a poor English person, usually male, from low socioeconomic areas that dresses in cheap tracksuits and commits petty crimes. They’re uneducated and usually live off government welfare while selling drugs on the side. Think English redneck. A slag is a woman who sleeps around, presumably a male chav’s better half.
