You would think Spain vs Portugal.would be a cracker of a game, bit with the way Spain shit the bed against Morooco and before that Japan....
I think Argentina is the great hope to foil hated Brazil and France. England will invariably demonstrate that they too lost WWII and should have listened to Rudolf Hess.

I hope this helps to make people undestrand that you can't trust a team full of kids, no matter how talented they're. At the frist sight of pression they crumble because they're fucking kids after all. You need referents and experience to guide young talent

I'm surprisingly optimistic about England's chances against France. Mainly because it'll mean all my mates who work in pubs will have one of the worst days of their lives with Christmas rush + Saturday night + England win.
Me too. All derbys work with different rules than the rest of the matches. Same applies to a hypothetical Brazil vs Argentina

Ronaldo reportedly dropped by Portugal for today's game against Switzerland. Starting 11 that is.

Morocco beating Spain on penalties is an upset, the first of the knockout stages.

The question for Santos will be if he continues to bench Ronaldo alla ETH. The first half performance doesn't lie.

What's more important to him - satisfying a washed player's ego or having a chance to win the trophy?

When you have a player that is obviously bigger than your team, it's not only about the player himself but the sponsors too. I don't know how many sponsors Portugal has, but i'm sure that all of them want CR7 on the pitch and won't tolerate more than this match.

Swiss players are begging for a red. Portugal might actually have a chance, huh. This is better than I expected.

Samuel Eto'o kicking some reporter in the face after the Brazil x Korea match.

Video

Edit: Looks like the guy is a YouTuber from Algeria who asked Eto'o if he ha bribed the ref in the match Cameron x Algeria which Cameron won and thus qualified for the WC.
