it just does those 10 things really well
I'd argue that it doesn't. Saw it played on stream, and the guy playing complained that controlls weren't the best, while it required quite some precision in movement with little room for error in a few segments. The only thing that's going for it is its concept. That combination of furry erotica and The Things thing.

Why try to get better when you're already supported.
That... probably describes DragonSnow's artistic career now that I think about it.

And also many artist today either way, probably a lot of the artistic expression nowadays...
It doesn't. The base functions of RPGMaker will do 95% of the work for you if you're only goal is to crank out a game. Knowing how to program and/or leaning the programs tricks will allow you to do vastly more complicated things, though. Changed isn't doing anything mechanically interesting. It's literally just using the first 10 or so things you'll learn in a how to use guide, it just does those 10 things really well.

And yet he's making another game.

Also have one if his memes since we're running out of weird furry art.

There's two parts to this, the front end and the back end.
The back end is where the '10 things' comes in. RPGMaker works by setting up a series of events, even the map is a kind of event. It's done well in that...that's it. The game is just a series of barebones events with none of the stuff you learn after that coming into play. It's simplicity itself, balanced on an art style. Far as I can tell, the controls seems to be a stylistic choice. He wanted something with a difficult survival horror feel, couldn't pull that off, so used some tight level design and pathing to make up the difference. You know the analogy "You've got to crawl before you can walk?" This game crawls at walking speed.

The front end is what the player sees and that's all furry stuff, yeah. For my part, I didn't realize it was really a furry game until the first animation, forget being a porn game as well.

The government can block and put all restrictions they want, but if there's one thing being in middle and high school taught me, its that horny teens will find a way. Unfortunately.

Even if we can't stop minors from accessing porn entirely, we can at least restrict their access to the big porn sites - the hub, e621, Reddit etc. - so that it becomes harder for them to get hooked on cockvore inflation before they're old enough to drive. They'd still distribute it among themselves, but that's far better than having access to an unlimited supply of degeneracy at the touch of a button with zero human interaction involved (and thus zero potential for shame). I'm genuinely interested as to what people think the downsides would be for ID verification - at the very least it'd serve as a mild inconvenience to slow the process of addiction.

But that's not the way. Do you really want to let those sites handle your ID information? They'll loose the shit out of it at some point. Do you want feds to be a button-press away from knowing that you've searched big black cocks on pornhub? No, I say! If they want to dig some shit on people who didn't do anything criminal, they should put at least some effort. And the worst possible thing is that if IDing for porn would be implemented and working, they'll go for other sites too, eventually.

First they came for the porn sites, and I did not speak out, because I was not a coomer. Then they came for the social media sites, and I did not speak out, because I was not a retard. Then they came for the Chan Boards, and I did not speak out because I was not a virgin. Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak for me.

I would gladly trade my own personal annihilation to remove this cancer from the next generation. The ubiquity and mass availability of porn has destroyed society in such an offhanded manner that I don't truly think it is possible to overstate what it has done to us as a species. This level of dysfunction can't be solved with half measures.

It must have taken some Olympic-level mental gymnastics to turn "step on me harder, daddy government!" into some kind of noble self-sacrifice, I'll give you that.

It doesn't change the fact that:
a) Forcing people to give up their details to random porn sites will lead to leaks and data breaches
b) Despite what you say, I don't think you'd like a world where the government has 100% control over what you can and can't look at
c) It won't actually get rid of porn or stop minors from accessing it, as pointed out above

Have the people here advocating for banning/requiring an ID to view porn been paying attention to anything for the last decade? It's a slippery slope. Today they want an ID to watch porn to "protect the children" (an excuse that's been used for a bunch of authoritarian, anti freedom shit in the past) and tomorrow they want an ID to play GTA VI or listen to Frank Zappa. There are better ways to prevent porn addiction in children than making consenting adults jump through hoops to access it.

it's cultural, it's not about ease of access to porn, it's the fact that sex and pornography are anywhere from accepted to celebrated in our culture
it's not the fact that little tommy can google a booby, it's the fact that he goes outside and sees pornography celebrated in every walk of life, his best friend's mom is an e-prostitute and her daughter wants to do the same, he walks into school and a slut who's still wearing the makeup and outfit from their adult performance reads him a storybook, he goes outside and sees women twerking in public like the park is a strip club... that's when he says to himself "i guess it's not so bad if i google a booby"

And giving the government more power will fix these fundamental problems with society how, exactly? Government overreach to "save the children" has never worked before. I guess true "saving the children" has never been tried.

it wont
who said it will?

if living in this world in general, but particularly the last decade or so, has thought us anything- it's that no amount or rules can stop people from doing what they want, and no amount of freedom can make someone do something they wouldn't be inclined to otherwise

You responded to a post asserting that requiring ID to view porn, by law, would not solve any problems by listing all the ways society is utterly pornsick. It looked like you were suggesting that the ID law would help to solve these problems. If that's not the case I apologize.
no, i was agreeing with the post
