I don't think there are just the technical issues, the behind the scenes stuff with Newey replacing Cowell, and general managerial flip flops can't be healthy for any team.
And then you have the tension looming over everyone knowing that Stroll is tanking their team efforts on track, doesn't matter how good the car will be.
I hope they can get their shit in order, but we've been saying that for a couple of years now. The only one in that team carrying his weight and more is old man Alonso, and I highly respect him for that.

If I were a racer I wouldn't want to be anywhere near the middle east for this precise reason in 2026. Bin Russell and Talibantonelli can call in air strikes at any time now.

Geez that sounds like the last time Porsche tried to enter F1 when they partnered with Arrows. Porsche build a shitblock of an engine while the Footwork wasn'texactly god's gift to humans as well. and they both blamed the other for sucking (though imho it was mostly Porsche doing the real sucking). I think the main issue is that Newey began designing the car when he didn't know what the engine would be like and so now we have the collision of two separate things. Ferrari, Mercedes, Audi and Red Bull have the luxury of being an "all-in-one" house so they can make whatever they want and their customers have to adapt (or buy the important components)

And yeah, if the entire Mddle East will burn for months I can see F1 skipping it entirely either with replacements or even no races at all. Heck, who knows if they can actually complete the season if the world turns to real shit

Circuit of the Americas is much more fun than Monaco to watch. Even Las Vegas is coming into its own with the visuals to go along. Monaco’s got history, but it’s a glorified richfag wankfest with no actual racing, if we’re being honest.

Between the Middle East stuff and the complete shitshow that is the new regulations, the 2026 F1 season already has an asterisk next to it as far as I'm concerned.

Can you imagine the following scneario: Hamilton wins the first round and then all races are cancelled. he wins his 8th title by virtue of winning the only race. What a perfect end for the guy who was stomped by Leclerc last year

The cartel violence in Mexico is kayfabe so we know that the Mexican GP as well as FIFA will never be in danger. What would Mexican politicians talk about if they did the thing we all know they can do and actually just stop the cartels? How would they enrich themselves if their primary revenue source was gone?
