19-year-old gets given 600-something HP car, predictable result
Strange, you'd think a racing driver would know how to handle that.19-year-old gets given 600-something HP car, predictable result

I'd guess he overestimated how grippy the road surface is and if there's a flaw modern kart kids have, they don't do well on variable surfaces.Strange, you'd think a racing driver would know how to handle that.

Also the kid has probably never driven with anything that weren't bespoke racing tiresI'd guess he overestimated how grippy the road surface is and if there's a flaw modern kart kids have, they don't do well on variable surfaces.
Time will tell on this. If teams complain about it for being different; FIA should tell them that if it works and is firmly within rules, then it is legal. The way Alpine have done their adjusting rear wing is either genius or awful. In theory it should make the air "attach" to it better when going from open to closed allowing them to carry more speed into corners directly after straights.
Everyone else has gone slot gaps similar to DRS, Alpine have gone to drop flat.
