Very happy for Hadjar, after that DNS fumble at the Australian GP (literal first F1 race of his carreer) I was a little doubtful but he has proven himself in every race after.
Beating the Red Bull second seat curse is gonna be a whole other question. Maybe with Horner out of of the picture the team will prioritize the second driver better but who knows.
 
I'm gonna be bringing an extra tallboy or two for this finale, that way, Pastry losing is easier on me and Lando winning would also be easier on me. My liver is getting so fucked this month.
 
Kinda funny: Piastri is the champion of the 1st half, Verstappen of the 2nd half of the season. But Norris will most likely win.

Consistency is a quality of its own as Alain Prost would tell us. Hell, Lauda won his 84 title because of it but Norris in my opinion isn't on The Rat or The Professor's level which is fine
 
sucks for yuki. If Hadjar doesn't perform, can Red Bull just do the needful already and change to a one car team? They've broken enough drivers trying to fill that seat already.

I've not watched F1 long enough to know, but I've heard stories from the 00's about McLaren playing favorites with British drivers when Hamilton and Alonso were teammates. Is this similar?

If anything it was worse back then. Imagine current McLaren campaigning to the FIA to impose a penalty on Piastri in one of the races to favor Norris. That's what they did with Alonso. "Our race is against Fernando, not Ferrari".

It's incredible the amount of mental gymnastics you have to do to reach what the article concluded.
But it's just The Race being The Race, British bias is like almost 50% of their articles. I still remember some stinkers they published on social media in 2021 with Verstappen and Hamilton after the British GP fiasco.
 
Some people on Zuccbook are pointing out that the finale this year is on the same date as Pearl Harbor and that Yuki knows what he needs to do. BANZAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!

i didn't like lando at all but after listening to a bunch of piastri ballwashers and zak brown conspiracy theorists i wouldn't mind him winning at all. would prefer max though.

Former Max stan here. This is hilarious watching Max crash and burn. But in all seriousness we can't let this guy get the 5th championship.
