If Brown had any damn sense he'd have been grabbing the head strategist by the cuff ala Dennis borderline assaulting Alonso's trainer after the 07 Hungaroring qualifying incident. How can these motherfuckers have the ability to organise such a top tier technical and development side of the team and be totally incapable of figuring out how to win, its beyond maddening.

Pastry win would require Landog at least(/most?) P6 to become champ. Unlikely, but not impossible given how much of a bottler Fat Zak's favorite son is. Maxipads win needs Landog below podium.

My ideal ending would be Maxipads on the way to win, with Pastry in tow but Landog, further back, is in danger of losing so team orders come into play. Pastry says he'll kiss the ring, but doesn't and Maxipads takes the season and we see the rise of Dark Oscar. I would cum if that happened.

I just can't believe what happened in the race. When I said I wanted it to be a threeway finale, I didn't think it would be like this. In a way, Carl's failed title run in 22 was less painful than this because Ferrari is Ferrari and their pasta nigger ways caused them to fall behind in comical fashion. At least they made it amusing. McL on the other hand, screwed up at the right moments just enough to make it competitive.

Doesn't look too good for Max. He needs to win with Norris out of podium places or either Lando to have a totally dismal race.

Max needs to have the Al Qaeda duo to finally help him.

Would Piastri help Norris now? I would say yes unfortunately.

I missed most of the weekend, but what an end! KWABLaren really are throwing this wdc, I've never seen such incompetency. Or if they're not stupid, they're malicious and did it so as to not pit just Norris, but fuck bitch of them. Excellent salvage job from Red Bull, Max was very good in general.

My personal pride and joy, Williams, got another podium with swarthy Carl, ahead of Norizz, always great to see, shame that Albon is rapidly showing how much of a shitter he truly is.

Kimi showed that although fast, he still has a long way to go, this year in general he and Merc really fucked with Verstappen's (then non-existent) WDC hopes.

Yeah, Merc really ghot in Verstappen's way this year: Spain when it was clear that Verstappen should not have given back P4. Ausatria when Antonelli imitated the Torpedo. Now loosing a place to Norris. But hey, a title is won over the total season so it is what it is. Hamilton didn't loose 2021 in AD, He lost it in Baku, Monaco, Austria (and some generous "ram the Verstappen" incidents)

Btw just read that Tsunoda will be getting the boot from Red Bull. and the total boot: no demotion to Racing Bulls but out. The plan is to have Verstappen and Hadjar drive Red Bull and Lawson and Lindblad drive Racing Bulls.. Poor yuki: he had a good car at Racing Bulls and then they gave him the razor machine that only works for Verstappen

Australian politician raises bizarre Piastri conspiracy theory at senate meeting

1st December 2025, 15:28 | Written by Keith Collantine

An Australian senator has used a government committee meeting to raise his concerns over McLaren’s treatment of Oscar Piastri.

It is likely the first time the Australian Senate Rural, Regional Affairs and Transport Legislation Committee has been asked to consider the outcome of a grand prix.

Matt Canavan put the question forward after McLaren’s tactical error in yesterday’s Qatar Grand Prix cost Piastri victory to Max Verstappen and dropped his team mate Lando Norris to fourth place.

“It’s been a bit of a frustrating night for some Australians,” said Canavan. “I don’t know who to ask this to, but you deal with transport and cars. So do you think McLaren is biased against Oscar Piastri and costing him the world championship?”

Canavan did not explain why he suspects McLaren would try to stop one of its own drivers winning the championship. However similar theories have circulated on social media for a variety of reasons.

Piastri is one of three drivers vying for the title along with team mate Lando Norris and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen. Yesterday’s result meant Piastri, who was leading the championship two months ago, will go into the final round of the season third in the standings.

McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown recently said it was “frustrating” to hear accusations the team might favour Norris over Piastri. Norris is the current championship leader and joined the team as part of its junior programme six years before Piastri.

“People are so uninformed with stuff,” he told The Sports Agents. “Unfortunately in today’s social media world and clickbait headlines and everything, the facts are just so wide of the mark sometimes.”

Brown admitted he finds it difficult not to react to accusations about the team on social media. “I’m very thick skinned,” he said. “It’s even kind of weird, I kind of enjoy some of the harassment because it’s so ridiculous. Unfortunately my comm[unications] team won’t let me reply.”

We can all agree that after all the choking he's done, the broccoli-haired zoomer finishing 3rd by 90 seconds and still winning the title will be the most unsatisfying ending we've had for quite a while.

I'm not even a Lando hater (McLaren in general is a pretty big part of the problem here), but man, him winning WDC doesn't feel as much like a win as everyone else dropping the ball.

Predictions: Max for the win and the prize. Lando with a mediocre finish. Piastri with a pathetic finish. Russell and Antonelli do well. Ferrari waves the white flag. Elkann is furiously running around this week throwing money at other drivers to crash so everyone talks about a crash and forgets about whatever shitshow Ferrari produces. Williams in top 10. Hadjar recovers from this weekend.
