So during the sprint Max mentioned the car was not just bouncing but jumping which cost him any chase to pass Norris. Now during Q1 he says the issue is the engine on downsifts/breaking during corners. Is this something they can fix before tomorrow without starting from pit? I cannot see him beating Norris with this issue.

They've had issues with downshifts all season. It's likely it can be made better using some of the settings on the steering wheel but probably not 100% sorted since it has been long standing.

I really hate that the end chapters of what has been a somewhat interesting championship are at these two shit tracks only here because two shit holes are paying a load of money for any sport that offers to sort their national PR issues.

Did some autitstic number crunching and Hamilton only won 5 Quali duels against Leclerc so far. And so far he has never stood in the front row once this season (Sprints don't count so don't come sperging with "What about China") And in fact he has gotten actually worse over the season. In the first half of the season he beat Leclerc 3 times, after that only 2 more times (in fact in the second half he failed to leave Q1 3 times). And on average Leclerc starts from P5 while Hamilton starts from P8. Big oooff. This season is by far his worst season as no teammate has utterly wrecked him like this before. Maybe it's really time to say good bye and do whatever else he wants

Plus he has never had a podiumles season which he will here. He has never finished out of the top 6 in the WDC which he is currently 6th only 12 points ahead of Antonelli so could well lose that too.

He is properly cooked and no amount of cultLH blaming Adami is going to fix that.

A good portion of the Lewis Hamilton subreddit is even saying he needs to retire now because it's just sad and destroying his legacy.

Well there is still one race left. I doubt he will get much tomorrow as the track seems to be harsh on the Ferrari but Abu Dhabi might be different. Let's see. Still Leclerc properly wiped Hamilton this year and you can't say "He needs more time" when Sainz is now regularly beating Albon at Williams. Heck, Sainz got a podium before Hamilton did!
