My theory: the DRS closed the minute he attempted the overtake. That must have disrupted the aero flow and that part of the track is rather damp to boot. No wonder Leclerc never even tried that stunt with Alonso at that particular corner

Went back and looked at onboard he was try to catch it also he had right full lock so 100% it upset the car.

Watched the MotoGP sprint afterwards and it's unreal how much better the spectacle in every other motorsport on earth is. The "entertainment" value of F1 right now is so poor it's unreal, and we're just gaslighting ourselves to think Max has a chance when there's none just to huff some hopium.
