I just want whoever needs to eat a penalty for Haas to take the podium spot to eat a penalty.
Results are confirmed so will be some extreme review to make one happen at this point.

I really don't want them to because it will suck for Haas and Bearman to get their first podium but not get the full podium celebration, just some trophy delivered by courier.

I laughed after I noticed you sneaking max in the constructors points tally. Well played my good sir.

Ok, so apparently the explanation for the Pastry crumbling is a lack of expertise in low grip conditions. Is the rest of the tear low grip?
Doesn't feel accurate the Hungaroring, Bahrain, and Suzuka are the lowest grip circuits due to the grade of asphalt they used to construct them for various reasons (Hungaroring build in soviet times, Bahrain very hot summers and sand, Suzuka old track).

Hungaroring Piastri was 0.6 behind Norris (after thay gave Norris the preferable strategy)

Bahrain Piastri won 16 seconds ahead of Norris in 3rd.

Suzuka Piastri was 1 second behind Norris and 2.5 behind Max (after they wouldn't swap to let Piastri have a run at Max).

Of the remaining

Brazil - high grip surface
Vegas - high grip polymer applied over the asphalt
Qatar - low/medium grip surface
Abu Dhabi - high grip surface

So even if Piastri struggles with the low grip surfaces he should be fine for the rest of the season.

So, you're telling me they'll be close and can take each other out🌈🌈🌈

Edit;
Follow up on the budget cap rumours, they turned out to be false, all other teams are within the budget cap Screenshot_2025-10-28-16-11-44-133_org.mozilla.firefox-edit.jpg Screenshot_2025-10-28-16-11-57-300_org.mozilla.firefox-edit.jpg Screenshot_2025-10-28-16-12-09-308_org.mozilla.firefox-edit.jpg
Who knows exactly why they couldn't sign the papers, but truth be told it's a bureaucratic error and a very minor one at that, it shouldn't affect their racing ability moving forwards

I read that the auditioner who was working for Aston Martin, was on sick leave and therefore couldn't sign the papers or something similar. And let's be honest there are probably already a bunch of tricks on how to circumvent the budget cap but are all more or less legal.

Someone on the formula 1 website decided to go full troll

Though they put 2011 Canada (the never ending race) as the greatest ever, so it's possible they're just retarded.

---------

I have been watching through old archived GPs in no particular season or race order, just dotting around however I feel and I've noticed a massive decline in commentary as soon as sky took over in 2012.

It all became about building up feuds in a really disingenuous way and having the designated "bad guy" eho the audience should hate. Brundle and even Ted were so much better in earlier seasons. Rivalries were always a thing in the sport but they were built by things on track, not driven by the media. I don't know if it is Crofty turning up, they were ordered by Sky management to do so, it was due to the dawn of social media, or what. Either way that's the point where it feels like the toxic random era of the sport really got going.

Can you imagine being chased by cops in this?
Imagine a Spanish cop furiously shouts “GP2 engine” in the radio as the suspect pulls away.
Nowadays you can't even enjoy a cop chase
Reasonable cops will just abandon if speed gets too high, to reduce risk of self-injury and harm to others, and just call in to set up roadblocks up ahead
I don’t know about that. This new grappler thing seems pretty cool

I hate this gay clown world. Back in the 70s and 80s Greek police had Porsches and BMWs to hunt down illegal street racers. Those were the days

Well now they've proposed changing to mandatory 2 stops from 2026 on which is supported by Liberty and apparently half the teams.

The thing is it wont change a damn thing. Instead of doing the same optimum 1 stop according to the computer to the same optimum 2 stop according to the computer.

Differences in strategy are what make the excitement. The problem is half the time a 2 stop would be faster if they could overtake those doing a 1 stop. It's just more of the issues with these fat cars being unable to fight and the tyres hanging on meaning tyre advantage doesn't help (not that I want the insta melt tyres back like half of reddit keeps asking for).

I still say refuelling is the answer, a 2 stop would mean a lighter car so easier to overtake and make up the time of that 2nd stop.
