Tsunoda gets told to hold up Piastri, and Piastri overtakes immediately lol

That's what puzzled me about this. What were they thinking? I guess they were expecting RB to cover him. But why would they?
I think a combination of the computer saying a 2 stop is theoretically faster but and them not knowing that the graining would clear up as well as it has.

Perfect time for Max. Amazing for Albon too.

Puppy enjoying seeing Albon(!!!) in fucking third :story:

I want Albon to get a podium but also want Piastri get more points than Norris for the championship so other than Norris braking down I likely won't get everything I want here.

"If anyone can manage tyres it's Lewis Hamilton" - the best joke a sky commentator has ever made.

Masterclass race by Albon, Hamilton seems to finally shut up his ego and just push as hard as he can.
Hulkenberg should be driver of the day for pushing that tractor into nearly points on a nearly impossible to pass circuit, probably the most underrated driver in the grid rn, I hope Bortoleto learns a lot from him.

I hope Alonso gets his first point, nigga deserves a podium every race for being teamed up with stroll.

I'm hoping more mix ups happen. Maybe we can have another decider finale in December with an equally kino ending to punctuate another regulations era.

Maybe even a three way with Max and the two orange bois.

The most DRS race of DRS races. Jesus Christ those cars need to get smaller and lighter.

It's not the size of the cars, as you'll find out once the smaller 2026 cars fail to deliver good racing.
It would be great if they were letting the drivers and teams select the movable aero but since it's just two modes with zones for when the second mode can be used it will do nothing to make it better.

It's the dirty air (thanks Toto and Hamilton) and the fragile tires.
Yup Toto crying about the cars being too dangerous when only theirs was and everyone else was fine then the FOA inexplicably giving in and changing the rules to fick the whole concept.

Plus everyone taking the wrong lesson from that one Canadian GP where the tyres melted.

I would like some consistency in my racing please race direction. Why a full SC when it was a VSC earlier?

The size still matters imo, and the 26 cars will be still huge, just not as huge as the boats we have now.

Also lol at deployment of safety cars and the time it takes to recover a vehicle.
The Monaco track crew should get hired for the whole season, then we don't need to spend laps upon laps recovering a vehicle.

The issue is all the safety and hybrid systems. Those add so much bulk I don't think you could easily make a smaller car to the current regs even if they were allowed to.

Looks like Norris overtaking under SC, I wonder if that'll get looked at.
