It looks it. They saw how much Leclerc made after his early stop but didn't account for traffic and how knackered his tyres will be by the time Max pits.Did McL Ferrari this for Pastry?![]()
That's what puzzled me about this. What were they thinking? I guess they were expecting RB to cover him. But why would they? They saw how much Leclerc made after his early stop but didn't account for traffic and how knackered his tyres will be by the time Max pits.
I think a combination of the computer saying a 2 stop is theoretically faster but and them not knowing that the graining would clear up as well as it has. That's what puzzled me about this. What were they thinking? I guess they were expecting RB to cover him. But why would they?
A 3 way championship decider would be great.I'm hoping more mix ups happen. Maybe we can have another decider finale in December with an equally kino ending to punctuate another regulations era.
It's not the size of the cars, as you'll find out once the smaller 2026 cars fail to deliver good racing.Jesus Christ those cars need to get smaller and lighter.
It would be great if they were letting the drivers and teams select the movable aero but since it's just two modes with zones for when the second mode can be used it will do nothing to make it better. It's not the size of the cars, as you'll find out once the smaller 2026 cars fail to deliver good racing.
Yup Toto crying about the cars being too dangerous when only theirs was and everyone else was fine then the FOA inexplicably giving in and changing the rules to fick the whole concept. It's the dirty air (thanks Toto and Hamilton) and the fragile tires.
The size still matters imo, and the 26 cars will be still huge, just not as huge as the boats we have now. It's not the size of the cars, as you'll find out once the smaller 2026 cars fail to deliver good racing.

The issue is all the safety and hybrid systems. Those add so much bulk I don't think you could easily make a smaller car to the current regs even if they were allowed to.The size still matters imo, and the 26 cars will be still huge, just not as huge as the boats we have now.
In a few hours you can watch Indy qualifying where the safety team will be onsite before the crashed car stops moving. Also lol at deployment of safety cars and the time it takes to recover a vehicle.
The Monaco track crew should get hired for the whole season, then we don't need to spend laps upon laps recovering a vehicle.
