Sounds like somebody hasn't seen handsome Carlos.....

What are people's predictions for quali? Mclaren of course look strong but I have cautious optimism for Max considering the times he's been setting in FP - if anyone can pull a miracle out of the bag its him. Ferrari still seems tied with Red Bull in actual performance with the drivers still unable to make sense of the car. I'll snort all the hopium in the world and hope for a solid Williams performance from both drivers this week. Norris seems happy here but I have faith in Oscar for Pole, with Norris in p2, maybe a Max miracle for p3, russel p4, leclerc and hamilton, hopefully tsunoda in p6 and both williams behind, maybe gasly and kimi to round it off.

Damn, looks like we're in a three way fight for pole.

Is the sound in the broadcast fucked? Apart from cockpit sounds when showing track footage, you get fan girls screaming well past the cut to the garage shots.

Yeah there's been issues with the Sky broadcast audio too.

I hope everyone will join me in congratulating Lance Stroll on having the most Q1 eliminations of any F1 driver in history!
 
Zak is vicious. If Lando chokes this year he’s got Barnard, dunne in the pipeline. Or he goes after George. I think Lando knows this.

Also it’s funny that both the social media favorites in the McLaren system(Lando and Pato in Indy) are getting humbled by their teammates this year

What an entertaining quali session. Can't believe Max pulled yet another pole out of the bag. the WDC dream isn't dead yet. Perhaps the Norris crash shouldn't have been so surprising, it's yet another choke in a long line at this point and he's #weakminding all over the place. Surprising performance from Russel and for a second I thought we were going to see him snatch pole. That paired with p5 for Kimi shows that the Merc is once again an overlooked car in terms of its raw pace.

Things aren't going so well for Poois Pamilton and I have a feeling it won't improve much for him in the race. Very happy about Carlos in P6 but yet again with Yuki we are seeing an underperforming Red Bull driver - it's an improvement I suppose but Yuki really needs to start making up places in the GP, which is where the 2nd RBR driver always seems to struggle. If nothing else Red Bull will want him to keep Norris back for the early stages of the race, but we will see. Overall excited for the race tomorrow.

clearly both merc and their drivers are doing something right this season. russell has been pretty fucking solid. watching both mercs and even the rookie steamrolling hambone after he left his gay lover toto and went to infest ferrari is peak schadenfreude

Not to mention how Leclerc spanks Hamilton in nearly each Quali (save China). I thought Hamilton was closer after Q2 but 6 tenths after Q3 is something
