And now Ferrari is back to row 3. And Russell is doing the "out of nowhere" performance. If Piastri had not improved we might have gotten a Russell pole. And It#s kinda funny how Haas were the slowest in Melbourne but now higher up the order. It seems as if we arew getting very track specific power rankings in the future. Well except Mclaren for now
 
This season right here is why they should be holding rules stable for a good number of seasons, the stability allows the slower cars to catch up to the faster who're in diminishing returns world* giving 4 teams (7 drivers) that could theoretically be on pole/take wins without it being a suprise. The big rule shake up will once again give us the team that got it right being dominant and a dull couple of seasons of dominance before anyone else can catch up.

*when they don't do the 2014 "no catching up" token bollocks.

The problem is I don't think you can just engineer it that way. This is an unusual year. Everyone's done a lot of development and most people - but especially the big teams - are concentrated on the next regs, not these.

At least with the V10s on the horizon, odds are they can drop the greenwashing bullshit off these engines and thus cut costs from having to have some hybrid BS literally nobody gives a shit about. It also likely means there won't be as much room for a team to go as wrong as all the non-Mercedes teams did back in 2014 where the split turbo design ended up being the meta and only they did it completely while Ferrari did a much more conservative design and Renault just made a conventional single turbo for it.

V10s sound like a desperate electoral play by a retarded sandnigger who is about to lose his cushy FIA job.
The rally drivers have outright rebelled and now refuse to take interviews, i bet if Max or someone at the leadership race gets a race ban or loses points over a fuck in team radio, there will be a driver's strike.
 
Nearly 4am here, i woke up hungover as fuck because my dog was too retarded to open the door herself to my bedroom and so she took a shit and started barking in the hallway as a sign of protest, i cleaned and now she peacefully sleeps on my feet as i watch this, i hope its worth it.

MBS indeed is saying it as a desperate play, but it would at least be funny if his shitty term ends up causing F1 to remember that what the people care about is how entertaining the on-track product is. Rally drivers doing it out of solidarity for Adrien Formaux getting shafted is a necessary thing and I hope the leadership understands now that these sports are not watched by kids because they are too busy playing Fortnite. Let the american TV channels worry about the bleeps.

It is obvious that any such development needs at least 3 years in the oven to be ready. That said, it shouldn't be that complicated to build them compared to all the extra complexity that the hybrid systems bring to the table. Still, this is plenty of time for any manufacturer to get an engine from concept to CAD to 5-axis mill to engine dyno to the test mule car.
 
Stroll has had two good races in a row compared to his usual. I am hopeful for, and expecting some complete retardation from him today.
Legit though i'm hoping piastri bosses it from start to finish.

I didn't get all the names but the stewards are looking into like 4 drivers already because of their practice starts from the pit lane. Also lolson starts from the pitlane too.

Also "Ferrari fucked up the setup, so its all over", yeah guys i don't think anyone was convinced, you both easily passed max.
 
Interesting shit to hear the my comentators saying the Mclaren goes apeshit on its tyres if its behind dirty air, i wonder if its because of that mini-drs ban shit doing some damage on the rear tyres.
