I bet Yuki have the biggest shit-eating grin rn

EDIT: fuck Bortoleto bottles it on Q2, I was hoping he can drag that piece of shit to Q1

Can we think of a season start worse than Bearman's? He's single handedly ruined a car, caused 2 red flags, knocked out of Q1. Andrea Moda, Mastercard Lola, and Life Racing don't count though.

Also LOL at the Sauber of Bortoleto outqualifying the overhyped Antonelli and a Lawson that clearly isn't up for the job quite yet.

Bortoleto doing a Roberto Moreno moment and out qualifying in a shit car.

Lewis spins but gets away with it. Also happy 600 pages, F1 thread!

Also also, the new TAG Heuer clocks ain't doing it for me so far. Fake rotating bezel and all that.

Looking like another slow start of the season for Haas, if not outright shitty. I think Hulk’s qualifying ability last season will be missed this season (not that it matters if the car is a brick or Mazespin’d/Migged).

Palmares of Vasseur: 2 times World most liked F1 relatd Instagram post owner

Hamilton from AuraMaxxing pre-seeason to dunked in quali by B-tech Red bull and Alex " They race me so hard" Albon (Nexturi Yearari)

Antonelli breaking his floor running wide in Q1 due of the pressure of the mighty Sauber

British Mick Schumacher saved another embarrasing crash by Gearbox RQ

Sergio Lawson not ready 2K25

McLaren dominance pleases me. Marshall and Stella absolutely cooked,

Gabi looks good

Also looooool Lawson and antonelli. Put respect on my boy Hadjar. Happy for Yuki and sainz

Also Ferrari is gonna Ferrari. Have all this up hype and then collapse

Ironically, 1994, was the start of the end of hyperinflation and where we won the world cup, but Senna died, the dude who gave hope to every poor fuck who woke at 5 am to work to see his cash be worthless by 5 pm had to die so that Brazil could move forward, no wonder he caused this when he died:
I have 2 DVDs with Senna funeral coverage. I don't know if you would be interested, but I can dig them out and upload the stuff somewhere. I don't think it is rare, but maybe it is? I traded for it a good 20 years ago now I think.
Very entertaining, also sainz's gf is beyond beautiful.
Yeah, noticed that first time I saw her. She will get lots of camera time! LOL She is Scottish I think too. And a model, no surprise.
So, mid-weekend replacement for Lawson, then?
This was from yesterday, but Before Q, so....

Red Bull target FIA exemption for teenage sensation

If cadi has a chance to sign Yuki and decides naw let’s get some shitty Indycar driver in there then Andretti is more of a lolcow than I thought
My feeling on Yuki is since AM is getting Honda, MAYBE, he goes to AM and is reserve for 2026 and then takes over from Alonso when he goes end of next year, if he does. Lots of IFs and Maybes of course, but the talk is of him going with Honda when they go to AM. But we know Stroll will drive til he is 50 and Alonso has a contract next year so he'd have to sit out next year which he probably isn't really down with.

Or yeah, maybe he kicks ass this year and Lawson shits the bed and they call him up to the big boys, but as I said, Arvid looms....

Q was pretty good! Even shit Sauber is closer, at those shorter tracks the field spread could potentially be under a second (barring upgrades making things better, or worse) One little mistake in Q now could lose you a handful of places. With an RBJr and a Williams out Qing Ferrari, margin for error is a lot smaller.

Williams are looking fairly genuine as regular top 10 finishers, so 4th-5th best team potentially in store? They could snag a podium with some mild carnage ahead of them or luck or some good calls during the season. The drivers in the typical top 4 teams really need to be at their absolute best as there are at least 4 or 5 drivers behind them it looks like that are close enough to put the hurt on them badly if they have a moment. At least in Q. We still got to see race pace and if Williams and RBJr are legit as they are in Qualifying. Tomorrow won't tell us too much if indeed it is raining, which could make for a fairly interesting race assuming Magic Max doesn't romp off in the distance.

Shame next year it all gets reset. For the first Qualifying of the season, it was pretty competitive I thought.

I am avoiding news post Q as I need to watch the F2/F3 Q sessions and sprints later tonight as heading I am out for a few hours, but is the nigger blaming the car yet for being shit to drive? Also, I had to laugh yesterday when that fat ass Aunt Jemina nig on Sky was talking about Lewis being not as quick as Charles and him needing to get settled in and get up to speed to be closer to Charles' times. Bitch, the fucking coon is a 7 times WDC and the greatest evah! Shouldn't he be demolishing Charles right away?? On one hand is greatest to sat in F1 car, on the other, he needs to be handheld and given time to be good as his teammate. Fuck off with that shit.

While I hate seeing Charles/Ferrari potentially being 3rd or 4th, or even 5th best this year, the bags of salt and copium that will get produced by the Sky idiots while trying to explain away why the spook sucks will be slightly worth it. Hopefully Ferrari just had another bad day or made stupid choices and they aren't as bad that they will have to fight with Williams and RBJr every race. I have no worries that Charles will wipe the floor with Lewis, regardless of how good or bad the car ultimately is.

But yeah, all in all, I think the whole field has closed up a bit and Williams, and maybe even RBJr, could at times be 4th best, maybe even better! Call it a season, we know all we need to now! LOL Good shit though to start, let's hope it continues.

PS, that link with the multitude of stream choices seems pretty good, no problem with anything yet with the sessions I watched, no buffering or stream getting yeeted while watching.

I bet Doohan wanted to sock Hamilton for that spin because he had to reduce speed which ruined his lap. Doohan seemed to be on pace with Gasly so far

Bortoleto lugging a shit car into Q2, Williams surprising me, Lawson fucking it up, red bull eating shit from their junior team.
Very entertaining, also sainz's gf is beyond beautiful.
Bortoleto and Hadjar being the best rookies was straight pottery. I enjoyed seeing lame-duck Tsunoda smack Lawson, but the Reddit dickriding of him has reached unbearable levels at this point. He's a mediocre driver and even if he got the chance at Red Bull, he might not do any better.

Red bull needs to clone max at this point.
I don't get why they can't find a consistent good driver to keep them in the points like barrichelo was to Schumacher.

Unless verstappen really has a completely different driving style that requires a bespoke car, but why not build 2 different cars then?, they got the cash, make one for the second seat that constantly goes 3-4th and they will start to win the constructor's championship.

And what happens when verstappen gets 2 more championships and gets bored? They will eventually end up with a undrivable car that only one man on earth can actually drive in.

Given that there's a strong likelihood of a wet race today, I wouldn't be surprised if Max wins. The current RBR car might be a bucket of shit (when compared to both the McLaren and last year's RBR car), but Max is unstoppable in the wet.

As much as I'd love to see Pastry atop the podium, I'll be stoked even if he's 3rd, as it'd be the first time an Australian driver has ever been on the podium at an Australian F1 GP.
