Tbh I doubt F1 could go full NASCAR because it’s hard to have fucked up as bad as NASCAR has. Of course, they could copy NASCAR’s dumber decisions like a playoff format for the championship and designated cautions and that would do the trick.I have a few "red line" GPs, where if a majority get replaces by soulless middle Eastern, murican, or street circuits I'm out (having watched every season since '92). Suzuka is up there along with Spa, Monza and Silverstone.
I really, really hope they take note of the reactions to Madrid and Veges and dial back the insanity. I have no idea if they will though. As said above, they could go off a cliff NASCAR style unless someone at the helm wakes up soon.
Would be a genuine embarrassment for Sky if this isn’t accurate and would likely get someone fired. Hope it is because it’d be funny to see a very awkward season for Mercedes since the reports indicate that Hambone would leave after this season.Hamilton to Ferrari sounded like typical off season nonsense, but it's being reported by a number of larger outlets now so might just be happening....

The large Leclerc contract extension showing they're all in on him and ferrari doesn't do "equal drivers", So would hambone be going there as faithful manservant? Doubt it. Would Leclerc stick around for the Bottas treatment? Again doubt it. I seriously doubt even ferrari are stupid enough to try it.
Plus hambone wouldn't be getting his prerace fluffing off the team principal like he does at merc. There'd be no "we know the car is bad" or "we're so sorry it's all our fault" calls.
I doubt Italians and ferrari would do the same apology for being white tour that the Germans and Brits in merc do.
Ferrari probably wouldn't appreciate hambone doing naff all development work because he's out recording his latest album, developing his latest fashion line, or fucking around watching the football team he part owns.
Ultimately there's nothing in it for either of them. Ferrari don't need a past it driver who was only ever just good but with a stellar car and hambone wouldn't be able to accept losing all the ego stroking that comes from within merc.
I'm still only going to believe it once its a Ferrari/Mercedes press release.Usually yes it would just be speculation, but this is being reported everywhere now even from more reliable sources.
Newey has worked on other red bull projects in the past so the F1 team aren't paying his full salary.Rumour is out that Red Bull are planning to move Adrian Fucking Newey out of F1 operations altogether to keep under the salary cap.
