Hambone seething because the FIA dared to even look at the possibility #girlboss was doing something wrong.

Remember you're not allowed to even question if anyone who is not a white male is doing something wrong.

Of course reddit is eating it up and accusing the media and FIA of misogyny and racism (because muh lewlew is in the team) over this. Saying its a terrible look and they've lost all credibility. As if this sort of allegation isn't major and needs to be investigated.
No wonder, she literally wrote her statement like a redditor.
"As a woman in..."
Attention, people, I have a PUSSY! There is a VAGINA between my legs and I need you to know that as you read my statement

Honda getting shaky and pulling out of a racing series? Never see that before.

This is weird, but unsurprising. When even the people over at Honda publicly announced that they don't want anything to do with the F1 racing series in about two years, then of course it speaks volumes that F1 fucked up

It's also Indycar, a series that only keeps it's head above the water because they have the Indy 500 and that's about it. It has been stuck with the same spec Dallara chassis for over a decade and it speaks volumes about it's lack of popularity that even the thread about it only has like 3 posts.

There's a thread? Welp, time to be the only poster ever in there.

Thhere's a separate thread? I assumed this had just overflowed into Motorsport General

I think the idea with it is to punish drivers from doing what Schumi did way back in the day and intentionally binning the car to the wall in order to stop a great quali lap from a competing garage.

So in other words, do the same exact shit Nascar did during the early-to-mid 2010s, right?

There has been a few instances of causing reds but being able to recover the car to the pits albeit in a dangerous state. So this is presumably to discourage them trying to do so.

Also note the words "may be" where it talks about lap time deletion. Not a given you would lose your fastest lap.

I assume that would be in a situation like Carlos in Vegas. He "caused" the red flag, but it was beyond his control thus he shouldn't be penalized by losing his fastest lap if he set one prior in the Q session.

The hell car no one should ever have to out up with an every engineer should be flogged for their terrible racism is now the fastest car on the grid at times. Though it was also god awful and the new car should be as far away from it as possible.

It's amazing how they can't even begin to stick to a consistent story even in one statement.
