Probably, I was assuming Ferrari would fuck up somehow. Not sure that a one stop race is possible with the tire degradation. Plus Leclerc will likely catch a penalty for driving around with damage.

They're fighting merc for 2nd in the championship. They were both ahead of both mercs, if it finishes any other way then they fucked it up.

Talking of shitting the bed, what the fuck are the Mexican marshals doing? Fucking siesta?
 
Nasty crash, poor luck for Ferrari to pit right before a safety car. Think the curb broke something loose causing the crash.

Edit: Oh boy, red flag. Necessary considering the barrier damage. Really poor luck for Ferrari and Norris with that.

Ferrari really needs the one stop to work for this race to not be a disappointment. Mercedes is moving too quick for an alternative strategy to work.
 
I think merc have fucked themselves with the medium call. They were hoping it would get them right up front then they could manage them. That didn't work and the ferraris will be right back at them in the last 10/15 laps.

I enjoyed the jizzing when Hambone got Leclerc: "he's just 3 seconds from Max, he'll be right after him". 2 laps later its 4.25 seconds.

That's probably Ferrari right now. They were on course to overtake Mercedes on the championship and now this.


Did I miss something about AlphaTauri this week? I know they upgraded Yuki's car but what else have they done?

Russell is in a shit spot since he couldn’t get by Sainz quick. If Ferrari is right on the hard getting faster that the medium in a few laps, that’d be really funny.

Lando really hurt his chances for significant points with that butchered restart.

Edit: Alonso in last is sad to see, Aston really suffered from success with the development of the car.
 
Think the mediums are starting to go. Russell dropped right off Sainz and Leclerc gap to hambone slowly closing. Nows the time for the ferraris to boot it.
 
It’s always funny to see a Haas hold up the middle of the field and create a bubble after the top of the field. Ocon said he was coming a few laps ago and still hasn’t passed Hulk.

Edit: Lando has done great, imagine if he hadn’t lost two places pitting before the K Mag wreck and more on the restart.
