Sky pushing the narrative that the boos were from butthurt Austin leftists and not from butthurt Checo fans:

Abbott won by over 10 percentage points and relatively few fans are local to Austin. The boos were 110% for Max. They also started long before Abbott came on stage.

Hamilton encouraging the Mexican crazies:

It was only free practice but Alonso managed to finish the first session behind a reserve driver, lol.

"Did you know the Mexican crowd are supporting the Mexican driver? You can hear them supporting him, hasn't he got great support here" - every sky pundit, everytime they start a new sentence.

Well Russell was the one bitching about Max blocking the pits in Singapore so should be definitely getting a penalty for that.

Great speed by the Ferraris, even surprised themselves. If their strategy department can pull off one non-pants shitting weekend then they might be able to pull off a win.

Quite a few inversigations to get through

No further action on any of the pit lane impeding investigations. Same r3adoning for all so just porting 1. Their logic makes perfect sense and I can hear the screams from Crofty and his "insider info" that they'd definitely get penalties going forwards frome here.

No further action on lulu for the yellow flags either.

Williams gets fined 20k EUR for leaving equipment in the pitlane (the equipment that Tsunoda managed to hit)

Sargeant gets a 10 grid place penalty for overtaking Tsunoda under yellow flag conditions (Alonso sbinalla) and starts the race from Austin
Truly Williamsover

Ricciardo has been necking shots of Verstappen adrenochrome all weekend. Tsunoda has evidently been licking up the drips. On a good day they are a midfield team that has the odd flash of brilliance. I still can't accept that this is genuine race pace and not a swarm of battery-powered fans, purchased from a street vendor outside the circuit, and attached to the rear spoiler.

If I was seat-filling at Red Bull, I would be inclined to sign Tsunoda. There's untapped potential there. We know what to expect from Ricciardo, who seems to operate on mood swings and I think will have the same consistency issues as Perez.

Out of all of them thos one was the one I was sure would be no further actioned. Tsunoda was on a cool down lap and Sergeant on a fast lap. Do they really expect him to basically stop because otherwise he'd go past the slow car?

Yeah, you need to lift in a yellow zone and yes overtaking is not allowed, but surely when one car is moving entirely out of the way and going much slower its safer to overtake than it is to slam your brakes.

I think the stewards gave him a penalty because they felt that they had to give out something after half the grid broke the rules. They don't want to punish the popular drivers because the media and drivers' fanbases will harass them, so they gave a meaningless penalty to a backmarker instead. Sargeant was at the back anyways so the only negative to him is the penalty points, but the FIA has also shown that those are meaningless because they stop penalizing drivers once they get close to a ban.

My hope for the race is either a) Perez miraculously wins or b) Hambone takes out Perez and gets cartel'd for it.
