lol the cutaway to the Lewis fan celebrating a DRS pass on Piastri.
A DRS overtake that Piastri didn't even defend.

The Crofty coping at the end about hambone somehow getting a podium was glorious. He started on pole and couldn't even come top 3.

His pace was very good near the end, but it was so late that it didn’t matter and he hardly gained on the final lap when Checo decided to actually put some pace in.

Haas didn’t exist this race. Sargeant spinning out so late is painful to see.

By the end of the race, Verstappen's tires were fucked like the surface of the moon, missing great big chunks out of the sides.

On paper Perez had a good recovery drive. In reality his tires were also in bad shape. He would have likely lost third to Hamilton within a couple more laps. I don't think he's safe in the seat.

A respectable enough drive from Ricciardo.

The drivers chat in the cool down room is far more interesting than anything Crofty has to say so why always cut away from it to Crofty talking nonsense?
What would be great, would be a replay of each race, with a select group of drivers providing no-holds-barred commentary. I think I would watch something like that in preference over a live race.

Poor Ricciardo. Although he managed to recover in that shitbox tractor, he could’ve been a few positions higher if it weren’t for Zhou driving him off course
We just need Ricci to get either two 12th places or one 11th (or better) and he'll jump debris in the WDC.

I'm still perplexed over the people who keep saying this is a super boring season. How many seasons have had 7 constructors in the top 10 in qualifying? How many have has this many different podiums (rather than Ham, Bot, Ves)? How many have had this many different tyre strategies in races? How many qualifyings have been this close (twice now we've had <1 second from 1st to 20th in Q1).

This season has been amazing, centainly had more good races than bad. It is just people who don't understand the sport? Or only care about the win (but then we had 14-20)? Or what?

Imagine red bull having sir Lewis ego number 2.

Piastri picked up floor damage hence the drop back.

F1 definitely misses so many opportunities in its broadcasting, it's unreal. The cooldown room is one of them. Why aren't there ever proper mics, and why do they always cut in too late and away too soon. Sure it will sometimes be a pretty dry talk, but these are literally the stars of the show chatting right after getting out of the car, what could possibly be more worth seeing or listening to.

When I see Max and Charles (for example) chatting right after quali and there's only a camera and no microphone, I realize the F1 broadcast is run by retards.

When they say the season is “boring”, what they really mean is that they’re disappointed that Lewis isn’t winning. The rest of the field doesn’t exist to them and they’d be silent if he was dominating.
LewLew’s ego is as large as Jupiter. He’s bitter that Max is a superior driver in a superior car this season. LewLew’s been inconsistent at best and at worst he’s just an insufferable faggot (literally).

Seeing LewLew fans mald over Max’s sheer dominance this season makes me smile.

I just finished watching the race and while I knew before even starting to watch Lewis was not going to win, I was super stoked that he fell so hard back to 4th and in the end stayed there and didn't even get a podium! That was great and super enjoyable!

Also, when he was in 2nd after most of the lead runners pitted, who else was just waiting for a safety car to happen so he could lock in. If it did I would definitely have been thinking the fix was in. But thankfully it didn't occur and the race continued to be enjoyable after that sweat.

Lando breaking trophy...he is a great driver but kind of is a doofus at the same time. Stop with the champagne trick. You did it once, it was cool, now grow up and be a bit more normal.

As for Crofty, horror thought, he ends up being another Murray and he will be around til 2050 as lead commentator. I shudder at the prospect of it, hopefully he does something stupid or a skeleton in his closet gets exposed and he gets cancelled right the fuck outta here. I still say he hits the booze during some of the races. I also have noticed lately he has made a few errors calling passes when it was the other team driver getting passed and not the one he said. Either way, yeah he needs to be reigned in, along with Ted, as they like to think they are amusing and funny when in reality, for true fans like us, they are boorish and lame. If they want to be the next Abbott & Costello, go do a tour of comedy clubs during the F1 season,

All in all, not too bad of race, made better by Lewis shitting the bed and McLaren looking like they have swapped with Aston Martin as the team most likely to podium. Wonder if they can keep it going for rest of the year? Piastri also proving to be good for solid points each race but will be a tall task to overhaul Ferrari in WCC.

With the Mclaren finally coming good (at least for now), it'll be interesting to see how Lando looks. He's obviously very good and easy to like, but being English does make his reputation inflated into being an automatic future Champion. Also Danny Ric being an absolute trashfire at Mclaren, he already looks better in the AT.
Today, just having Perez chasing him down like 6 seconds behind him, he sounded like he was having a breakdown when his engineer was just telling him what the gap was. I wouldn't necessarily bet against Piastri after a season or so, he's very impressive.

Also lol at Perez getting plaudits for being 4 tenths a lap behind his teammate in both quali and the race, not to mention crashing in his first lap in FP1. Apparently that's a 'great weekend'. The amount of kid gloves this guy has gotten at RB is insane.

I really hope he is given the tools to fight for it. It would be nice to have a british sportsman doing well that isn't a cunt, it's the rarest creature in history.
Lando is still quite young, so he has plenty of time to turn into a cunt. Hambone was still kinda alright at his age, and look what happened.
