Live testing starts tomorrow (Thursday) and it appears it will be broadcast.

My sleep pattern is currently all fucked up so I doubt I will be awake when it begins (and probably ends). This website might be a place to check for live streams for those who don't use F1TV or have SkyF1. Hope it does pan out and is useful:

(I am on a diff comp than my regular and it is an older bookmark but just checked it and seems to still be active.)
Just wanted to say this link here gives perfect links to the race so far. I was able to watch FP1. The other (vsport) works too but I only get one HD link and that link requires a certain VPN (?)

Since I was little, I always had it in me that the year only truly starts when the F1 season begins.

2023 begins this weekend, and it promises to be one hell of a season.

It will be interesting to see who will come out on top in Qualifying. Alonso looks really strong as do the Red Bull. I still have an inkling that Ferrari is hiding something. And Merc... guess my theory about them sandbagging was wrong (for now).

Honest question: Where the hell do people get this retarded take on "sandbagging." It's some serious idiotic shit. The teams don't sandbag, I swear it's all the new fans from drive to survive who talk this shit about "Sandbagging." I think perhaps their brains have been replaced with sand.

Testing times showed RedBull ahead, Aston Martin not far behind, Ferrari only just behind aston martin and mercedes being nowhere. OH WOW LOOK FP1 AND FP2 MATCHED THE TESTING PREDICTIONS. OMG you guys SOOO much sand bagging.

Sorry don't mean to go off but I swear this brain rot from drive to survive fair weather fans is.. nauseating

Watching Mercedes struggle gets me so hard. Hamilton has had it so easy for so long, I just love seeing him struggle. His true character will show shortly and I will take bets now Russell outscores him again this season (just like last season, even with all the hamilton simps claiming "But MaH ExPeRiMeNtAl sEtUps" lol always an excuse for hamilton

To be honest to me it comes from the fact that Mercedes themselves stated that they reduced their speed to prevent rule changes in 2015. Also they always complain about "we have problems" only to pull fastest laps out of the hat. Or 2021 RedBull looked so strong in testing and who won the first race? Mercedes

I mean the track extending form Ham Ham was off the chart that race with the mid race rule change. At least , the Mercedes F1 team and Bluis took the victory with shame of being called an human error race winner.

Funny how they got reverse karmaed on the last race lol

Also , Chadwick getting bodied in indy nxt for the moment. Was the Formula W a scam ? :story:

It’s mostly cope from Hamilton fans, but teams don’t go 100% during testing and practice. It’s not sandbagging because they’re not doing it to hide their true performance from the other teams, but rather because they have many things other than fast laps to do. We’ll find out the real speed of the cars during qualifying today.

Thank you so much for that, this year in my country F1 is only available on Viaplay which streams in a laughable 720p and expects you to pay for it. It's incredible that I can get better quality stream from some rando than a supposedly professional service.

I haven't been keeping a close eye on testing. Does the Aston Martin look like it has blanket pace, or is it going to be a one-circuit wonder? I would love to see Alonso and Verstappen mixing it up. At heart, they are two similar personalities - both ultra-talented arseholes.

A best of the rest Mercedes would give Hamilton a chance to rebuild his image. If he could weather the indignity of a being 7th-8th on the grid with some displays of good character and some decent drives, he might shake off some of his bitch-made legacy. Unfortunately for him, I think the leader in that team is going to be Russell. If things go badly I reckon Hamilton will bow out at the end of this year. It really is astonishing how his whining has thrown an air of defeat around what is, on paper, one the greatest performances of an any F1 driver. He should step aside - go and design carbon fibre dresses for men.

Over here, they're demanding fucking 40 € a month for what amounts to getting Finnish commentary and nothing else. Then people wonder why overall interest in the sport is going down when the only people who can afford to watch it are whales and turbo-normies.

Anyone else thinks Mercedes has dropped the sandbags? I mean this looks faster then anything they have shown (except aglimpse in practice a few days ago) Or is that simply because of Qualy setup?

It's better than any English speaking coverage where it's 24/7 Lord Hamilton.

There was nothing more magical last year than seeing 3/4 of a race focused on Sir Lewis in a non-competitive car, while ever single other team, except for whoever is 1st, utterly ignored.

I literally listen to a kid Livestream his own coverage rather than listen to the English team.

Sport leaving public broadcasts and it's consequences have been a disaster for the human race.

The switch to sky lost a third of UK viewers, losing public broadcasts killed F1 in Germany and now you have to sell a kidney to go to an actual GP. I just want to go back to Silverstone gaddamnit :(

Also top 10 within half a second so far if this keeps up this season will be a classic.
