Okay Haas, don't let your inner Ferrari out. Just this race. You saw what happened to Leclerc right?
That power unit has the need to sneed

Liberty must be happy with that after the Mexico snorefest. I wonder when, if ever, a team started on both pole and last place excluding penalties?
Ferrari at Belgium 2009 maybe? At least for the race proceedings.

Anyway, I'm happy he got a pole in his career and taking one from Nogilton, but we aren't seriously pretending for a second he got it from anything more than luck, are we? If he holds it into Turn 1, good on him, but he'll likely be fighting for 7th/8th at best unless attrition comes into play.

And I think this year, the Pole counts for both the Sprint and the Race, only 2nd position onwards is now determined by the former. Unless they changed it back.

They only changed the stupid rule that whoever wins the Sprint gets "Pole Position", and whoever qualifies 1st "wins Qualifying". It's now pole position for qualifying 1st as it should be again.

The sprint still determines the grid order for tomorrow's race as usual, if you got pole from qualifying you can lose that grid spot in the race, which seems likely with Magnussen and the white Ferrari.

I will laugh so hard if we see the season out with poles being at Magnussen 1, Hambone 0, even better if it's front row starts which hambone also doesn't have yet this season. It's not like the hambone drones can (legitimately) blame the car either because Russell has had a pole this season at Hungary.

Who the fuck signed off on all the loud music we've had at some GPs? Would the crowd prefer to be listening to that or the interviews over the PA system? Why are they wrecking the quality of TV coverage for everyone viewing?

Also was bloois' dnq for an illegal rear wing last year all that controversial like sky seem to think?

The fuck is this TV direction that we have to watch the lead change hands in a replay?

Is there a reason everyone is just letting hambone through with no defence?

Russell learning from hambone with the "turn limits, wah why am I such a cunt that I can't do it with skill" calls.

Why are Brazillians such Mercedes cucks? Why does the merc suddenly gain so much speed in Brazil?

Even with the eventful race we've just had I still think sprints are shit. From a nice mixed up qualifying we've ended up with a pretty standard grid for tomorrow. Same with last year and having Hambone being able to undo most of a dnq.

well i still dont care for sprint races but that was a great one. Schumi had a great drive from the back. Stroll needs to not try and kill everyone he races.

At least K Mag got some points. Not a bad showing from Migger as well, Haas has to be happy. Alpine really got fucked this race due to Ocon.

didn't think Merc would have a chance in Brazil though RedBull did certainly help with their Mediums. Race might get interesting though. Isn't there a chance of rain for tomorrow?

Schumini really muscled his way to, what is it, P11? Problem is the team have cost him a bare minimum of 10 - 15 WDC points by strategising wrongly. There's no point racing for the last point or two when they pit you in early or on a shit compound and undo all that work. Austria was the worst where they had two nightmare pitstops in a row.

Merc always seem to have suspicious levels of pace in Brazil to the point it ends up as just drive around every other car.

The finishing order

No one seems to have mentioned the side pod damage Ocon picked up in that clash at turn 4 but it really screwed him too.

Or the beast Drive Alonso did after having to pit for a new front wing but not ending up last.

Both have been summoned to the stewards, as has Gasly who is only 2 points from a race ban.

And Ocons car went up in flames after the session. Looks like the sidepod damage overheated something so when the airflow stopped up it went.

Marko has said that they knew mediums wouldn't be great but sacrificed today for tomorrow where max has an extra set of softs. No idea if true or just cope but if the softs are that much better than the mediums tomorrow then it was be a master stroke.

Gasly got a warning with no penalty points for driving unnecessarily slowly. I wonder with him being so close to a race ban if they'll avoid giving him any for anything beyond an obviously over the top infraction making a mockery of the whole points thing.

Stroll got 3 points as well as the 10 seconds for shoving Vettel off.

Alonso 5 second penalty plus 2 points for the pit straight collision with Ocon.

Wow Magnussen got a singular point whilst up against all those faster cars. Guess Haas didn't Haas it too hard this time. Also good job to Schumi for +8 positions gained.

Yeah, WTF happened to Ocon?
