Why the hell did I bother to get up early on a Sunday? I saw the forecast and knew wet was likely so should have expected the cucking out.

Here's a solution to the "they'll all jump right onto inters", have a rule where the race director can declare extreme wets only and they can't change off extremes until its declared suitable.

Imagine being in the UK, paying a massive amount of money to Sky which is the only legal way to watch a live race, wake up at 5am, then you get to listen to 3 men talking about which sort of warning lights they should be fitting to recovery vehicles.

Imagine being a Japanese fan who paid tens of thousands of yen to attend the race only to sit in the cold rain for hours watching absolutely nothing.

Worst thing about this cuckery is the track has to pay FOM to have a race there and the track makes their money in ticket sales. The track will probably have to give some refunds here but FOM won't pay them back. That's what happened in Belgium 2021 and it cost the owners of SPA a horrific number.

Track owners need to sue the FOM for that.

So can Max still clinch today? I don't know how the new scaling works.

Yes but unlikely. He needs to outscore Leclerc by 6 and 1st will get 13 points at half distance.

Just fuckin go. Stop saying (supposedly) the best drivers on earth are getting cucked by a puddle and a bit of spray.

SvG, Mostert and Waters finishing with 6 seconds of each other after 161 laps, 8 safety cars and a shitload of action. Even if it was pissing down like it was for the last few days, Bathurst still would have run today.

It says a lot that the event of the year in an idiosyncratic category restricted to only two countries manages to spank the shit out of another event held the same day that is allegedly the pinnacle of motor sport.

I realise this is highly unlikely, but if Ricciardo doesn't have any other drive next year... how good would it be to see him as a co-driver at the 2023 Bathurst 1000? I don't think he'd have too much trouble getting a drive somehow.

The fuck are the graphics department doing. Max is not getting 25 points for the win. It's impossible.
