I think American series like being low key in super license points. The last thing Indy needs is to become the North American F1 feeder seriese.
They complain about it pretty frequently.

And it's a balancing act. For part of the CART era it was kind of an F1 feeder/finishing school/retirement home. And that was arguably good for it. Being just a retirement home is less good. Also the Euros establishing it as a low-tier ghetto is a clear dis that will rankle anyone. On the other hand they don't want their best drivers all scooped up by the F1 system. Now you have the worst of both worlds: People getting ganked for FP1 runs which are somehow more of a superlicense path than solid running in Indycar.

I'd also look into giving Super Formula the full 40 points if you win the championship there. It can serve as the third tier of "Win this and you get a superlicense" for open-wheelers, with F2 being still given priority, Indycar being a close second. Also, give 5 points for winning the New Zealand Grand Prix.

So, how many points for winning in W series.

Quoting function is broken, therefore I can't quote @Coccyxs post containing the article directly.
Isn't it weird how 2 landwhales, going out to deliberately troll people with their homosexuality and literally cruising for someone to react shows the inherent racism of Max fans, yet when Hamilton fans start being utterly despicable towards Hannah Schmitz, it has nothing to do with Luise?
Really gets the noggin' joggin'.

I also like how the article insinuates that...
a) ... Hamilton had a shot at winning. Yeah, once more, I'd like to see the footage of Verstappen flying past Luise without DRS. It was just such a close match, this could have lasted another dozen or so laps! :story:
b) ... the issue with Tsunoda was feigned to give Max a shot at the win. A win, mind you, over Hamilton. Super Max was leading Leclerc by 80ish points before the race. He has about twice as many points as Hamilton. Hamilton could win every remaining race and get fastest lap and Verstappen would only need to be 3rd two times and Hamilton would still not get the title. Totally believable that they'd use such a blatant case of cheating to achieve jack-fucking-shit.

Bonuspoints for putting investigation in "-marks. Fuck off, whoever put that shitty text together. The text doesn't even make it clear how utterly ridiculous the notion of AT/RB fuckery is.

By the way shouldn't Hamilton and Wolff apologize for their idiotic fanbase spewing msyoginistic threats to the Red Bull strategist? Imho they abolutely should and they should be shunned until they do. What's fair is fair.
To their credit, they have said it's unacceptable.

Edit: Almost forgot. Fuck troons I just want to laugh at retards and bitch about cars going vroom.
Yep. This is the only F1 thread on any forum where we can call Hambone out for being the massively overrated virtue signalling fart huffing chocolate drop he is.

Why would they? She isn't black or trans.
Sorry kid your hero is crying in the bathroom
On the plus side, this kid learned a valuable lesson: never meet your heroes.

Lewis continuing to be an insufferable cunt. In other words, water is wet, and the sky is blue.

It's like pottery, it rhymes.

For this week in the Scuderia Screw Up, I predict some kind of engine failure as the pressure to win in Italia and the Red Bull being a rocket car leads them to overclocking the engine to keep up.

Protest as hard as you want Nyck, you're never going to get an F1 seat. Your time came and went.
I wish Toto would stop inflating the guy's ego, he's not that good. He won in the washing machine on wheels series, so have many F1 rejects who were too shit to be allowed to stay. It's like winning a couple of games playing for a pub football team and claiming Manchester United have to sign you now.

“It could have a negative effect on Formula 2 and Formula 3, because if you can score points more easily elsewhere, you get drivers to move to other championships.

Except that's the point, you can't easily get points elsewhere, with other series being vastly under represented in the points.

The entire superlicence points systems needs an overhaul. The nonsense that is walking a toaster around a road and getting Mario card power ups and fan voting carries the same points as formula 3 and WEC for winning for fuck sake.

It also boggles my mind as to why they're getting Giovinazzi to sit in the Ferrari as though he'll be driving for Haas next year. As I pointed out a couple pages back, he has had literally ZERO success in FE. To fail in a series where the likes of Vandoorne and Wehrlein became champions means you must be on a whole other level of mediocre and need to be booted to a GT series like DTM or Blancpain before you even consider returning to open-wheelers.

Sorry if l am late on this, but kiwifarms won't work on my phone so I am restricted to my desktop.

I think this is the best possible outcome. RBR is completely in control of their own destiny now and have no one they can end up blaming but themselves. And with the history of car manufacturers entering and exiting the sport at the smell of global downturn, I think this is for the best. The last thing I want is for the fun RBR team we know now with all the marketing and show car demos and actual fun events to be overseen by a board of German bean counters obsessed with a 5 year plan.

Just took a check on F1 and what do you know it's penalty time again: Bottas, Verstappen, Perez, Hamilton, Sainz and Tsunoda have confirmed engine penalties. Schumacher might be added too with a gearbox change. Why Verstappen though? His engine was changed in Spa. So maybe we get a "Win from P 20" this time?

Better safe than sorry. Just throw another engine in the pool while the lead is large.

So did Verstappen, when the Landwhale thing happened, but still we could not ever hear the end about how his fans are toxic. You think anyone will talk about "Hamilton's" toxic fans? Nah, we'll hear about toxic "male" fans. When the sacred minority person is affiliated with something bad (even just indirectly like in this case), try to bend it in a different direction, so you can still target the same group of undesirable people.

Well, he actually never met his hero.

As for the Ferrari-fuckup-bingo, engine failure is already taken. maybe a brake failure leading to a crash this time?
It's really tempting to go for another pitlane fuckup, though.
