I really had high hopes for AM and Vettel this year... I mean, not "challenging the title" hopes but "getting on the podium once or twice" hopes.
Guess that's it then. I'm really sad that this is how it all ends for Vettel, Ferrari gave him no car fit to challenge Mercs (admittedly, they were the only ones at least getting close in before 2020) and then Ferrari treated him like garbage in 2019 and especially in 2020. AM now fumbles around, too. Can't blame Vettel for leaving, but I sincerely hope that he'll stick around and act as a mentor to Schumacher. If AM was smart, they'd keep Vettel around as expert, but I doubt it.
