An ok "sprint", at least there was some action. The SC sucked as without it some of the Soft runners may have fallen off a bit.

George falls to P3 with Checo one point behind and Sainz now in 2nd. Lewis drops to 6th with Max moving ahead.

I think it was too cold for the Haas' to go with the Ms, but Mick made some places up.

I wonder if the Mercs will start on Hards tomorrow?

Another Ferrari pic

Best looking car since the 2014 Merc

Edit: Russell and Merc I like you and want you to get better, but I need the Larbaleseethe-Hamilcopes.

Toto not going to be happy with hambone's (admittedly accurate) assessment of where merc is:

Toto busy running around telling the media they can totally win it honest, it's like a 1 in 5 chance. Then Ham comes us and says no chance. Hambone is breaking from the party line.

As I said earlier in the season Imola will be the first track that gives us a true measure of the cars it being a real track in a European climate like much of the calendar is. Merc doing thos badly at imola does not bode well for a strong European half of the season.

I think it will depend on the circuit and the weather. Of course what Merc needs the most is an understanding of their car. I get the feeling they are trying to "fix" a car they simply don't understand. How is it that they installed updates and now they are slower then before while Mclaren who was slo at the start is now faster (at least in Qualifiying trim) They are too hasty and more improtantly they are wasting their budget. The season might be getting even harder for Merc

Currently raining at the circuit and weather forecasts indicate intermittent rain for the rest of the day.

Good news for Haas who looked better in the wet than dry this weekend.

A BBC forecast picked because it looks the nicest and is hourly.

Edit: Porsche super cup came prepared.

Time for another session of safety car kino then? Looking forward to it! I've always admired the utter catastrofucks you can get out of a nice, wet race.

Please sky fire half these jokers and use that money to offer Brundel money to do every race he can't possibly say no to.

Wet track, Mercedes performing poorly and a classic track, what's more to be desired? This race is going to be fucking amazing and I know it. First time we'll see these cars perform in the wet during a race, too. Wonder how spray will be with the new aero under racing conditions.

Also, there is this faint glimmer of hope that Mick will get his first points... in a rain race, no less. Schumi is reknown in Germany for being a beast on wet tracks, so it certainly would be nice if Mick managed to pick up where his dad left off.

Edit: Thank fuck, regular broadcast in Germany this race, I don't have to deal with Hamilton-fellatio by Skf.

Can the commentators please stop tongue punching Lewis' fart box, it's getting silly...

'lewis thrives in these conditions'
'lewis has made a great start gaining positions'

Me: what do you mean he's gained 3 positions while 4 cars Infront of him have crashed retired or spun to the back of the pack.

Oh look without DRS drivers actually have to make overtakes work at other places on the track through skill and ability.

Here comes the PDR dipshit "they need to enable DRS to let them race", bitch we've seen more actual overtaking maneuvers here than the sprint ever produced.

It's also very clear that that the problem of dirty air is a far lesser problem than it was in the past decade that prompted the whole DRS as a stop-gap solution.

Sky presenters claim to fucking hate DRS, except when they don't. Fancy that.

Fire the pair of these morons and find someone who knows the first thing about commentating the sport.

The constant crying about muh fake overtake button is getting really annoying now.

See that attempt by Stroll that gave some excitement? If DRS was enabled he wouldn't have tried that he would have waited to the straight for a fly by. DRS ruins the fucking racing, just because you dipshits need the dopamine hit of constant "overtakes" doesn't mean DRS is a good thing.
