I've found the ultimate troll that makes Hamilton fans lose it. Tell them they sound like a bunch of q anon trump supporters. They think the result should be taken earlier than it was, claim they were cheated in some grand conspiracy and are trying to badger the court into overturning it for them. They fucking lose it.

Man, I was toying around with that idea myself but thought that would be too shitposty, now I can hardly hold back to try it myself.

Pierre Gasly is a very good comparison point for someone like him because he is pretty much a complete package of a driver and has more than a few years under his belt. IMO he's about 2 years away from being really good since he's got very good fundamentals and tenacious defense.

So far I get the impression that Tsunoda is a bit like a version of Ukyo Katayama. Raw speed but too much risk. Katayama himself was quiet fast (at least when he had a decent car like the 1994 Tyrell) but was also prone to accidents or crashes. Let's hope the last race gave him a boost and that he takes the lessons from this year into next year. And I really hope that Haas gets a decent car so we can see Mick in the Top 10 (here is hoping since Haas most likely threw the season early and concentrated on 2022)

Can drivers agree to trade numbers? Cause it would be kinda cool if Max took the 1 to cockblock Hamilton and then trade with Perez as a bow to his excellence and how much of Max' title chances rested on Perez shoulders at times.

After Perez kept Hamilton behind him for an entire lap last race, he truly deserves being number one.

As I understand it you have an assigned number which is yours for as long as you're in F1 (in the case of Verstappen, 33), however the reigning champ is offered the opportunity to use no. 1 if they wish. If they do their assigned number (33) is held in reserve so no one else can use it while you're using no. 1, and if you cease to be champion you revert back to your assigned number. I assume no. 1 is reserved for the sole use of the reigning champion if they wish.
 
I miss the number 1 always being the champion. Same with team mates having consecutive numbers. I suppose the numbered driver does help with branding and ease of recognition on the track like they wanted but there was something about the consecutive assigned numbers based on standing that was great too.
 
 
I'm really enjoying all the Hamilton fans crying about how this is the.most controversial championship ever and totally discredit F1. Like I know you all only started watching F1 like 2 seasons ago because of DTS and Hamilton winning but its not even top 10 for F1 controversial championships.

Regarding driver numbers, yes Max is definitely taking the #1. He said it a couple times, he also said it may be the only time he ever gets to do it! LOL So, def #1 back in 2022.

I believe that a driver retains his number even after leaving F1, for 2 years. If they don't come back, then it goes back to being available for anyone to choose.

As for the numbers, can someone maybe explain the way they used numbers back in the 50s/60s. I may be mistaken, but pretty sure I have seen photos from races during the same year and the drivers have different numbers each race. Tell me I am not out to lunch. I specifically recall the Lotus cars the British Racing Green era as doing this. That seems weird. Again, pretty sure I am not imagining that!

Also, did anyone see the drunk Toto videos and apparently the team's twitter account DMing people who reposted them and asking them to remove the vids? HAHAHA

That reminded me of when Ryan Hunter-Reay won an IndyCar championship, he used the #1 in the following year, but incorporated his original car number, #28, on it.

yeah the numbers were given out arbitrarily by each race organizer way back then.

Why would they want to remove that? Most reactions to it seem positive. Partying drunk is better than sulking to an alcoholic coma.

After all: What do you do when you win!? PARTY! What do you do when you lose!? PARTY HARDER!

I've offered a few of them that if the race was that nobbled let's just declare the race null and void. They start crying "but that's not fair" then come up with a reason it has to be the lap before (when Hamilton was winning) not nullifying the whole event for some reason...

They look a bit too chunky on this spec car. Hopefully they fit in better with the '22 cars. Hopefully at least one teams goes with trying to decorate them a bit, the plane black steelies look doesn't go well with an F1 car

Let's face it all the royal titles are just Mickey Mouse nonsense handed out to any sped who can win something these days (I bet none of those mercedesengineers who did all the hard work got anything). There are a few OBE/CBE/MBEs handed out to people for actually doing something worthwhile for the country but they're very much the exception now.
