This is some grade A bullshit. Max should just ignore that corner and take the same line Hamilton did, after all, that whole chicane is just optional, the way FIA handled it.
 
Someone definitely needs to look into that engine in the Mercedes. No other new engine for anyone has made this much of an advantage. Something seriously dodgy.

This track is just terrible. The fact they can focus on Kimi and Russell for so long and mis nothing just shows it. The changes have done nothing to make the track better.

Hamilton is flying along a tenth of a second faster than his competitor, who only keeps up with outperforming his already great car. Both are 20s clear of the rest of the field and Hamilton has power to spare? Something is absolutely fucking fishy about this car.

That being said, Checo is a beast, managing to duel Hamilton for such a long time on red tyres twice the age Pirelli assumed would be possible. Single-handedly cut back an 8s gab between Hamilton and Verstappen to 1s. What a monster.
