Stewards being fuckwits again.

This whole season has been a shitshow of steward decisions and here's yet another.

Oh and Hamilton gets a warning about his bullshit but Vestappen has to get 5 secs...

At least Max managed to finish the race, but after looking at the various replays of Hamilton running into his rear, I am pretty certain that it was Hamilton's fault. Plenty of space. Now let's see how the stewards will spin this into Max' fault and punish him some more.
If they come to the conclusion that it was indeed Hambone's fault it won't matter anyway, cause Max is at 6ish seconds plus 5 for the penalty. So even if Hamilton gets 10s penalty, he'd still be in front... unless RB manage to fight back against the 5s penalty -and- Hambone gets slapped with a 10-second penalty. So yeah, chances of that are about as high as finding a non-corrupt politician.

If this result stands, at least we got a very, very movie-like finish in the last race with both title contenders at equal points.

On the plus side if neither finish the next race Max wins the championship, and Hambone will know it if he finds himself having to overtake Max at any point.

Of course if Hamiltonn wins the championship by anything less than 18 points it's fully illigimate in view of that Silverstone nonsense (and that being generous saying he would have won anyway with Max 2nd).

Don't forget Baku. With Silverstone and Baku, Max would be the winner already.

Don't forget Bottas Bowling at the Hungaroring.
Can't really lay Baku or Hungary at Hamilton's door though. Shit happens in F1 and both have had bad and good luck (more so good for Hamilton). Silverstone I can absolutely lay at Hamilton's door. That shit was deliberate and it's a fucking joke he got that shit weak a penalty that he still won easily.

I really wouldn't blame Max if he went full Schumacher, Senna etc at Abu Dhabi.

Oh here we go Max has been summoned regarding Hamilton driving into the back of him (but of course Hamilton hasn't regarding driving into the back of Max). Bullshit grid penalty incoming?

Edit, now Hamilton has been summoned.

Messy and almost had to be won lap by lap
High speed track which looks like a prison compound not high speed when it gets red flagged twice, safety car and virtual safety car numerous times

Toto throwing his headphones off lol

In the end despite slow speeds under safety and virtual safety , maxs tyres degraded much quicker than manufacture said , and when he came in under first red flag his front tyres looked real bad on the edge .

I mean this is all well and good but still doesn't answer why Lewis needs to be told to overtake Max when he slows down... isn't that racing 101? Overtake the car in front of you.

Hambone's attempted dunk on Max

I thought Senna was you ultimate idol, because if so I have some news about who out of you or Max most resembles his "all or nothing" style.

Also you did more than enough talking, over the radio.

Perhaps the most demning thing for Hamilton: he knew full well why Max was slowing but went into the back of him instead.

There was no reason, zero for Hamilton not to just go around Max at that point.

Am fully expecting a max DSQ and exclusion from the championship, although i think it was a racing incident, lewis shouldn't have drove right up behind max.

By the way, this crash happened in the f2 feature race
F2 really needs to figure out what to do about these cars stalling on standing starts.

I mean wouldn't suprise me given the FIA's judgement so far this season. Realistically it should be a "screw it it's all good" or slap on the wrist for hambone for driving up the back of an obviously slow car (why the fuck didn't he overtake? Seems a strategic decision to me).

That said I don't put it past them to overreact and wreck what should be a filling finale to the closest season in years.

Of course they blamed Max for Hamilton not knowing how to overtake a slower car without Bono telling him how. At least it changes nothing.
